I've been using these test strips for my hot tub this year and not only do they give you a lot for the price, they are pretty accurate as far as I can tell and are easy to read. I've used a couple different test strips just to make sure my water is fine (since I didn't want to fully trust just one brand) and they all gave pretty much the same reading, except these ones give you 150 per bottle which is way more than some other brands. Highly recommend. Edit: I will say, the pH section of the strip is kind of useless. Get a different strip or pH tester if you want an accurate reading. ... show more

We have been using test strips that were good but costly for the amount of strips you received. We switched to these strips. And have been very pleased. I love the color grid and how easy it is to read. One second in and no shaking. Love this product.

I had always used liquid test kit but when it needed new reagents decided on strips for their convenience. The old strips seldom said I had enough chlorine and with the hot temperatures we were experiencing that sounded logical. Then we started having trouble with the Diamond Brite coating failing and algae issues, so we took the water to the pool store and the pool store machine said it had way too much chlorine and cyanuric acid. The strips that were from a company who also manufacture the chlorine we used said we were in the ok zone. These test strips actually match the pool store machine readings. We had to really work hard to get rid of the excess cyanuric acid (stabilizer) from over chlorination with stabilized tablets. I have had a home pool for 61 years and was a certified pool operator for 10 years. For the first time in many years had to reach out for professional help thanks to strips from a chlorine manufacturing brand that were inaccurate. Our pool sparkles again, but we will have to have the pool resurfaced. I blame that on the other test strips. These will be my go-to strips from now on. ... show more

I bought a bottle of these in Oct, 2022. They seemed to work well for a couple of seasons. This Spring I was befuddled at the results. With brand new water,I had high alkalinity and low Ph, which is basically impossible, if you raise one the other goes up. Chlorine levels were off too... high total but no free... I assumed they had expired. I bought new ones and sure enough it showed results that I could at least rectify. The thing I have a problem with is that 1. the expiration date is on the box... who would keep the box that a bottle comes in for 3 years? and even if you did, would it survive? 2. they expired well before 3 years time. So they need an expiration on the bottle and they need to make it more attainable. ... show more
