** I want to update my review. While the product itself is a piece of garbage, the reseller, iHubDeal sent me a postage paid RMA label and refunded my full purchase price after contacting them through the Amazon app and explaining that the pump and filter were defective and when I tried to do a return through the app it is making me pay for return shipping. I should not have to pay for shipping to return a defective product. They made it right by emailing me a prepaid RMA label. A week after receiving my return I still had not received a refund so I contacted them again and showed them the proof of delivery where they signed for the package. I got an email from them today stating they have issued my refund and it should post to my account in 1-3 days. So while I was very unhappy with my purchase, I am not unhappy with the service I received once I contacted them about the issue.** The instructions for assembly and operation are not clear at all, it doesnt come with all the parts needed to hook it up so you have to buy additional hoses, shut off valves, lubricant, etc. Then once you figure out how to get it all put together, the darn thing leaks EVERYWHERE. And the top of the filter does not seal and its impossible to get the clamp band closed all the way so it spews water out of the top of the filter where the clamp is. Then when you go to return it, you have to pay for return shipping, which costs half of what you paid for the item in the first place, so you're out $100 or more if you decide to return it. Do not buy this product unless you enjoy wasting money.

Pump seems strong but it's leaking heavily still everywhere. Must not seal very well. Even used a bunch of Teflon but no luck. I'll have to figure something out.

1-no on/off switch , no timer 2- no draining basket to pour the sand(needs to cover with my own tape to avoid sand get inside the PVC pipe 3-very bad quality on metal clamps 4-motor filter hose leaking came with a hole in the middle 4- support base of sand container /motor is a plastic paper is not a vulcanized rubber 5-valves leak since no o-ring provide (you need to buy separate) 6- is almost impossible to close the sand filter attached since screws are very bad material. returning the same day , waste sand plus 4 hours trying to do my best.
