These are super small. They are decently easy to pop open once you figure out how the key works but still a little painful on the fingers. The size is perfect for holding the bait snug. Hopefully the little bastards eat the bait. My exterminator said to place them a few feet apart all around the basement.

These are super small, which I knew before ordering them, but seeing the tiny box of 12 on my porch I initially wondered if they had only sent one. No, all 12 in a small box. The bait stations are small. I saw them recommended for voles and mice, I know they can squeeze through small spaces, but these seem rather short in height. Either we have huge rodents out here or these stations are designed to be very uncomfortable while eating. They open easier than some of the other name brand stations (hint: insert key and twist very slightly) which is nice, especially if you don’t know what you’ll find when you reopen it to re-bait/monitor. The biggest downside is they only hold one piece of bait — and just barely. The lid bulges slightly above the bait when using a bait block which isn’t a rectangle. I had a few rectangle bait blocks which were too long - most fit just right, but a few were too long and a couple slightly wide and pushed up on the lid. Those were the exception and they didn’t stop me from using the product (I used the couple odd blocks in a different larger station) but it was annoying how they made everything so small that those small variations impacted ease of use. Overall, seem like an ok value, we’ll see if they successfully feed our uninvited guests.

After attempting to use more humane ways to get rid of my destructive rodent problem (ultrasound, chemical/smell repellents, etc), I used these bait stations along with Lipha Tech First Strike. It got the job done.

The key is ridiculous to use. It’s hard to open the traps and they only give u one key, so, guard it with ur life!!

I am not an expert, but I am neurotic. I researched online about the appropriate bait and poison and I placed them strategically in the yard. I went to check the traps after two weeks, and there was absolutely zero activity in the traps, see the review picture. I’m not sure if these things are too small as in the voles cannot get inside or if I have mutant voles that hunt human babies, but these just didn’t work.

This product is discreet and seemingly very effective. I placed them 2 days ago and haven't seen evidence of new mice presence since then. I'm guessing they're attracted more to the bait in the trap over what little food would be available to them such as pasta and cereal which I don't have stored in bins.
