    • A really great value for adding keys to your cars
This product costs about the same as one key programming from the dealership. If you have more than one car or would like more than one additional key this is the ideal way to go. It will program most "difficult" keys but there are a few brands that are not possible outside of a dealership. My relative's Mercedes was not compatible so be sure to check your cars with the seller. I sent them my VIN and they responded very quickly. As an added benefit, it has sophisticated error code checking, oil change reset, and a variety of other features that give you control over the computer systems. These were more than I needed but it's nice to know I have them if I ever do want to adjust technical settings. I've owned the device for about 1 year, and I've received several OTA updates in that time. This suggests support for the product is ongoing. Dealer wanted $150 to program just one Subaru key. Took less than 5 minutes with this Xtool and when I program 2 more cars it will have paid for itself.

    • Amazing Tool if You Are A Maserati Owner!
This is such a great tool to have in your arsenal! Reads all of my 2016 Quattroporte Maserati codes, engine diagnostics with amazing detail. Saves so much money from having to take my car to a Maserati mechanic. The other great thing about this tool is that I lost one of my car key fobs. The Maserati dealership in Dallas quoted me a price of $1,400 for a new key fob and an additional $350 to program the key fob. I emailed Xtools Tech Support. They confirmed that the X100 could program my 2016 key fobs for my Maserati. So that was the leading factor in buying the instrument. I was able to find Maserati Key Fobs on AMAZON for $150 for TWO key fobs (instead of the $1,400 for one quoted by a Maserati dealership). Received the key fobs and followed all of the step by step directions the X100 listed on screen. And lo and behold, I now have TWO new extra Key fobs that work for my Maserati.     • Good tool
It's a good tool. I added keys for 2015 Honda Civic. Quickly & accurately diagnosed camshaft sensor. The interface is easy to register, setup and navigate. The wording used seems like it's been translated from another language into English. Mostly understandable but just a like off. Manually input VIN numbers are cleared when I change menus. I didn't see quick options to typing again and again. Customer service showed me the history option. Does not support 2002 Mitsubishi Galant. Does not support 2003 Toyota Camry. I like it. but definitely research if you need certain options or compatibility before you decide on which model. Customer service has been outstanding. They been responsive to emails. thorough with questions, and helpful with solutions. ... show more

    • impressive key programmer & scanner great value for the money
I purchased the X tool x 100 pad plus after finding out about it for key programming capabilities I have a Autel MP808Ts which cost me $800 & compared to the X Tool X100 pad plus about half the price it is by far a hands down & better scan tool & key programmer The key programming is awesome Not only does it scan all modules & does live data *23 other functions not mention 2 years free updates Autel has 1 year Also the update feature on the X tool much better faster down loads with more coverage than my Autel The key programming function worked to perfection on a 2010 dodge caravan & a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta also programmed three keys on a 2011 F 250 I used the x100 pad plus to program keys for the 2010 dodge caravan provides pin access code and programming in two screens Done in 2 minutes Very impressed Then I programmed key for a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta FYI Volkswagen has locked Autel & most other diagnostic companies out of there key programming procedures but with the x 100 pad plus you can program keys & remote fob,s To sum it all up if you want a scan tool& key programmer all in one without breaking the bank I would recommend to purchase a x tool x 100 pad plus Steve B. ... show more

    • Does not program Keyless entry for a 2016 Tundra
Despite many emails from tech support saying this supported programming the keyless entry FOB it would not. I ended up paying $140 to have a locksmith do it in 5 minutes using the FOBs I had been trying to program with the X100 pad. I will say tech support does reply to my emails in a timely manner.

I needed this x100 to program my key fobs for a 2009 Nissan Altima. It was easy to use and worked perfectly. I am also using it for vehicle diagnostics. Excellent product and great customer support.

    • It’s ok
This works ok to read codes on a car but not key programming. I emailed company before purchasing to ensure it could program a key for 2000 Nissan Altima and was given a response of yes it would and in fact it did not. I had to get a locksmith to come out and program key anyway which costed another 170.00. But reading codes on my vehicles it has been good for, but I could have bought an obd2 way cheaper to do that for me. ... show more
