I waited a while to put in a review as I have purchased many of these scanners including one other xtool scanner and unfortunetly had returned them all as they did not do much more then a $35 walmart junk obd scanner. Unlike those scanners this one has done everything i need it has paid for its self several times over with just some of the special functions such as the ability to program keys. Not to mention. It comes with many other features that most tools do not have such as a trouble shoot button for each code to help you track down the exact cause of problems.

As an electrician for over 25 years I can appreciate the use of diagnostic tools. When they are used correctly you can’t put a price on the time and money saved. Previously, I had the XTOOL D8 and it served me well over the years. Wanting something newer with additional features I settled on the XTOOL IP900S. The UI was intuitive, I had the ability to test multiple platforms (including some that were not supported on my D8) within my vehicle as well as the vehicles of my friends and family. Choosing to be transparent, I’m not a mechanic, just a curious DIY’r that’s somewhat handy, has some free time on my hands and enjoys saving money. All in all, the XTOOL IP900S is a quality product, offers a great value for the money, has the ability to monitor an extensive array of your autos systems, includes 3 years of system updates and the ability to diagnose multiple vehicles brands is the icing on the cake. I would sincerely recommend the IP900S.

Excellent scanner for the price. Easy to use. Live data is very useful and it's spot on with diagnosing problems. I will mention that the included charger gets too hot to the touch so I won't use it. Instead, I use one of my own chargers.

It is an awesome tool I've been able to get in and adjust stuff that I needed to as far as lights beepers stuff like that gives me a very well-defined error and what's nice if you're hooked up to the Internet with it you can look up the error code very happy with this product I would recommend just be careful that you don't get into something that you don't know like I did LOL

Has some key copying functionality,but did realize I needed another component to get more functionality out of key duplication processes on more vehicles! Does what it is supposed to that was my only meh statement towards this particular device

Quality tool. User friendly interface. Great customer support. I had an issue with the battery not being able to charge, after a year , still within the warrenty period. A couple of reasonable emails back and forth with Matt from tech support and it was the determined that the unit had to be replaced with a new unit. Free of charge. I only had to pay for shipping of the defective unit to Ontario California. Thanks again Matt for your great, hassle free support.

Always have been happy how these XTOOL diagnosis pads work. This is my second xtool tool purchase. First one is just a little slow now with years of use and doesn't have all the functions the new ones have. So far only used it once just to make sure it works, and I really like what I see. Love the topology part and works on alot of makes and models of vehicles.

Did not do a proper PMI yes the old module was still communicating. Contacted tech support and after one email per day was finally told oh it will not work for that. ( was trying to replace Seat control module G that has factory massage) Asked about on line coding and how to use that functionality with no answer but this... you can't do online programming with this unit.. correct it says on line coding so how do I do that.... crickets. I wanted this to work as it had a good price point but if you can't use it for high end functionality not worth the price as units that have the limited functionality like this can be found cheaper.
