  • Very high quality, professional, solid, heavy, noiseless treadmill.
Style: TR300
I am a professional runner in the past, half marathon, marathon, and also at any distance shorter. I have never stopped running and have been in good shape all my life. I only run on the street every day for 8 miles. But now in New York it is constantly snowing, and it is very slippery, dirty and dangerous to cross the streets at times. I had to buy this treadmill to be able to run and not be affected by the weather. Great professional track !! Very solid, durable, stylish, large, more than enough for a full, quality run. Many programs, enough speeds and inclines. I have been choosing a treadmill on Amazon for a long time, and chose the XTERRA Fitness TR300 Folding Treadmill. I am very glad that I bought it, after a long search. Delivered very quickly, assembly is very simple, my husband and son assembled it in 30 minutes. Works perfectly, quietly, smoothly. A very high quality product, for a normal, not overcharged price. I definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to run or walk any day and time, and not depend on weather conditions. ... show more

  • Very nice treadmill for a great price
Style: TR300
First, definitely get someone to help while assembling, you'll need an extra hand to hold parts in place while you bolt them together. Second, use your own allen wrench and 13mm wrench. The ones that come with it are pretty cheesy. Assembly only took me and my wife about an hour. Pretty simple and straightforward. The cables all have different plug types so you cannot connect anything incorrectly. Once assembled the calibration test ran fine. As for use, it's quiet, quiet enough that I can watch TV while using it. The belt is comfortable to walk on, changing from one to another speed is nice and smooth. The display is easy to read and controls are very nicely laid out. Folding up is easy as well, just lift up on the back end of the unit and it easily raises and locks into place. Taking it down is even easier, release the catch and it lowers itself. This is the first treadmill I've ever owned and I think we'll get great use out of it. Being in Houston, going outside for a walk is pretty miserable most of the year so it will be nice to walk inside. ... show more

  • Great treadmill for the price
Are you looking for a decent treadmill that you don't want to bankrupt you? This one just may be it. My wife and I were looking for a decent treadmill to help prepare for some future marathons during the summer months and when we can't run outside due to having small children at home. This was a god send. I thoroughly researched buying a treadmill before pulling the trigger and this one checked most of the boxes which was surprising under $1000. I'll make a list of what I was looking for. Longer/wider belt for running. - This belt is 20" x 60" - Plenty of room to run even for tall runners. Strong motor that won't break the bank. - The motor on this treadmill is 3 CHP which under $1000 is nothing short of amazing. Extra cushioned deck - This deck has a few bumpers that help with shock absorption. This helps for both your floors and for your news and for women runners the chest region. My wife absolutely needed it because she is breastfeeding right now. Quiet - It certainly isn't silent but it hasn't woken the baby yet. Incline - According to the manufacturer it can go to 0-15%, this is someone disputed, but for our purposes its great. Speed - Up to 12 MPH which goes back to the 2 CHP motor. When I was researching buying a treadmill, many buying guides advised not spending below $1500 on a treadmill because it would lack quality, a strong motor, long enough belt, etc. However, this treadmill was below $1000 and not only did it check the boxes, but it has passed with flying colors. A shout out to the manufacturers support team too - On arrival the safety key was broken, they shipped one out to us right away, no questions asked. Now this review isn't all good. It was a pain in the butt to put together and weights almost 300 pounds. I would recommend paying extra to have them delivery it to room of choice and if you aren't handy then I would pay for assembly. All in all though, this is a great treadmill for the money and I would recommend it for anyone looking for purchase a treadmill on a budget. ... show more

  • Great Machine, Poor Amazon QC
Style: TR300
Love the machine! Great value! My machine came with a shredded drive belt. We assembled it ourselves, but it was apparent someone had returned the unit because of the drive belt (there was oil on the hand holds, the plastic jacket over the drive belt was torn from its securing screws, and as soon as we started the machine, there was a flopping noise). We resolved the drive belt replacement with a simple phone call, however, it was very disappointing to receive such a large object with an avoidable issue. As for the treadmill, it is sturdy, versatile, well priced, moveable, and sized right. Despite our issues with the drive belt, we were able to use the machine safely while awaiting repair. I’ve never written a review before, but have had such a good experience with the machine, I wanted to share that with other buyers. FYI - it has taken an entire month to resolve the shredded drive belt. ... show more

  • Love it! Great quality, and not noisy. Easy to use Love it! Great quality, and not noisy. Easy to use
Style: TR300
I have used this treadmill (nearly) everyday since it arrived. Its very smooth, quiet, and it transitions speed/incline seemlessly! Plenty of width and length for jogging and running, too, which is exactly what I needed and most other cheaper treadmills did not offer that space. I was finding other cheaper treadmills to have a belt width of 16/17”. Not good enough. This one is perfect. It has speed presets on the dashboard (3, 6 and 9) for easy access, I really like that feature. It has the same digit presets for incline too, less of a necessity for me personally, but still neat! I havent played with any of the preset programs yet (too intimidated lol) but they’re there and theres quite a bit too! The cupholders are pretty large and should fit most waterbottles, another nice feature. The tray to set phones/tablets on is a little too small, I have an Iphone X and my phone won’t rest there safely, without the fear of slipping off, I have a pretty slim fitting case on too, so I genuinely believe the “shelf” is just too short. All in all it really is a quality treadmill, I love it and I will continue to get a lot of use out of it! Setting it up took just under an hour between 2 people, the most annoying part was holding the side bars steady enough for the other person to line the bolts up perfectly. No complaints there. ... show more

  • UPDATE #4. I DEFINITELY wasted 1,000........
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!! I am not pleased with this unit so far. Shipping and getting it assembles was a huge pain (read my review on the seller), but once I got it into the room where we wanted it and got it assembled, I discovered issues right off the bat. First, the "liftable" running deck required two people to lift it. I am an athletic and pretty strong guy, and I couldn't lift it myself. And if I really pushed hard, the treadmill rolled forward. So, I had to get one person to hold it still, and then I was able to lift it. Then, I couldn't get the thing down. I know something was wrong. It turns out the left mechanism was assembled incorrectly and there was no lubrication. I fixed the assembly, shot it up with some WD40, and worked it for about 10 minutes until the folding mechanism worked correctly. Then I started the treadmill, and it made a loud "whump whump whump" sound while the belt turned. The belt was super loose, so I tightened it. Then I got on the treadmill and started walking. With every step I took with my right foot, there was a screeching sound coming from under the deck. So, I am walking and I'm hearing "whump whump whump" at the same time, I am hearing "step, screech, step, screech, step screech!!" So I called the seller's service department and the guy on the phone told me a rubber piece between the deck and the metal unit must be worn. IT'S A BRAND NEW UNIT. WORN????? I decided to play the game, and accepted his offer to send a replacement part which will take 5 to seven business days (Christmas is around the corner, so I guess I will get the part after the new year). Then I have to wait 3 more business days for someone to contact me to set up an appointment, and God only knows how long it will take for them to actually fit me into their schedule. We'll see how this all plays out, but at this point, I am thinking that I just threw away 1,000 on a piece of junk. UPDATE: They sent a guy to "repair" my brand new treadmill. It still makes the same noise. I will call the company today to let them know that their "fix" didn't work. I will give them one more chance to fix my brand new treadmill. If that doesn't work, I am going to request a replacement at their own cost (including shipping, bringing it up to my apartment, and assembling it (all of which I had previously paid for). I'll report on how it goes. UPDATE#2: As expected, the second "repair" didn't work. The unit is still having the exact same issues as it did when we first got it. I have called Xterra Customer Service to request a replacement. I have not yet heard back from them. I will update this review as the saga continues. UPDATE#3: They sent me a replacement unit. I had to fight with them to have it delivered into my home and have it assembled. REALLY??? They agreed to it, and the unit arrived. 2 idiots tried to put it together and spent 3 hours unable to. I called customer service, and they sent out someone the next day. THEY REFUSED TO REMOVE THE OLD UNIT stating that it was "not their problem." THE NEW UNIT HAS THE SAME ISSUE AS THE OLD UNIT!!!! I AM CONVINCED THAT THESE UNITS SOLD BY AMAZON ARE DEFECTIVE AND THAT IS WHY THEY ARE DISCOUNTED. UPDATE #4. I managed to give away one of the units to a women's shelter. They were glad to take it, even though it makes noise. I paid to have someone pick it up and deliver it to them. The second unit is still unusable. I am fighting with the warranty company to see if they will come out to fix it. They are telling me it's a lemon, and it is not covered under warranty because it's a manufacturing issue. So, I will either give it away or throw it away. SAVE YOUR MONEY> DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... show more

  • Good treadmill
Style: TR300
Treadmill works great now, but had issues at first as display would not turn on. After contacting very nice support center, tech helped me find a wire that had come unplugged during shipping. The treadmill on 0° incline is not flat. We put a level on it and it's off by about the width of a man's pinky finger. While this doesn't seem like a lot, it is in respect of how fast I previously ran/walked on my old treadmill that was more level. This is ok for me as I can build up to where I was and the extra incline gives a better workout, but some may not like this. Overall I like the features on this treadmill. I have tried one of the programs so far. The only dislike that I have is that the fan is basically useless. It's not very strong, it blows on the midsection of a person, so doesn't really do much good. I bought a fan to put in one of the 2 cupholders so another easy fix. ... show more

  • You will need a lot of muscles to move this monster.
Arrived exactly as stated but SO GLAD I read all the reviews. Had my two sons, 24 and 25 and a friend of theirs here to muscle this baby down to the basement. HEAVY is an understatement!!!!!!!! This monster weighs a ton, maybe two tons. Took all three young men to get this thing down there. One son and girlfriend put it together and it works like a charm. With that point seriously emphasized, we have five adults all using it and it takes the constant abuse without a whimper. This is a seriously heavy-duty treadmill - fair price as the quality is superb. ***Update - Year+ later and this is still going strong with 5 people using it. We've lubricated when it tells us to and it keeps right on going. Sorry for the folks that had trouble with their units, ours has been fantastic. ... show more
