    • Exactly what I wanted!
I've been using for 3 months and I like it very much. I'm getting back into a routine and wanted something in the house to motivate me. I am a walker that will jog and run but not a hard core runner. I have not used the programs yet. I had research and research to find a treadmill that fit in my budget but would also be durable and last. This check most of the boxes for me, and I didn't need to have that ifit program. I did not know this brand and was concerned about by an unknown. Overall, more people gave better ratings to all the Xterra models than the popular Proform. I feel that I have made a good decision. Pros: The deck is nice and long. Panel provides what I want. I like the heart rate reading. The adjustable speeds and incline on the hand rails are convenient. It was easy to put together, once I found two men to carry to basement from garage. (Not really) Cons: the fan works ok but I wish it was on a swivel as it is directly at my belly. The increase/decrease buttons are a little slow to respond. The first few uses I walked very close to the panel and would kick the motor cover as it is directly under panel. Eventually I just walk further back which also helps fan get a little higher. Non of these are would prevent me from buying again. All in all I would recommend this treadmill and I feel ive made a good purchase. Amazon delivered in a week and it was put down my longer driveway into the garage. ... show more

I have used this treadmill (nearly) everyday since it arrived. Its very smooth, quiet, and it transitions speed/incline seemlessly! Plenty of width and length for jogging and running, too, which is exactly what I needed and most other cheaper treadmills did not offer that space. I was finding other cheaper treadmills to have a belt width of 16/17”. Not good enough. This one is perfect. It has speed presets on the dashboard (3, 6 and 9) for easy access, I really like that feature. It has the same digit presets for incline too, less of a necessity for me personally, but still neat! I havent played with any of the preset programs yet (too intimidated lol) but they’re there and theres quite a bit too! The cupholders are pretty large and should fit most waterbottles, another nice feature. The tray to set phones/tablets on is a little too small, I have an Iphone X and my phone won’t rest there safely, without the fear of slipping off, I have a pretty slim fitting case on too, so I genuinely believe the “shelf” is just too short. All in all it really is a quality treadmill, I love it and I will continue to get a lot of use out of it! Setting it up took just under an hour between 2 people, the most annoying part was holding the side bars steady enough for the other person to line the bolts up perfectly. The media could not be loaded. This arrived in very sturdy packaging and nothing was broken or cracked-no screws were missing. Everything was the way it should be. Assembling the arms takes two people. I don’t think you could assemble this by yourself unless you have a really long arms! The things I like about this treadmill is that it isn’t as big as I thought it was going to be as we have a very small duplex. It will fold up but it really doesn’t save that much space for us to fold it up out-of-the-way so we just leave it down. This looks like a very well-built sturdy treadmill that is very much like the ones that I work out in the gym. I tried working out barefoot because my workout shoes hurt my feet. It’s like walking on concrete! So I am waiting for some gym shoes to arrive from Amazon. I do walking in some sandals and that has worked for the short time until I get some decent shoes. The thing that I have had the worst problem with with this treadmill is that it is on an incline without pressing the incline button. The front is about an inch and a half taller than the back and so trying to walk level I find myself leaning forward like I am scaling a hill! I am in very bad shape which is why I bought the treadmill but I can walk around our park without a problem but I can only walk five minutes at a time on this treadmill because of the incline. I read on another review that the husband just put a 2 x 4 under the legs in the back to raise it up to level so that it doesn’t feel like I am charging up the hill. I am pretty certain that will work. It is very easy to figure out the buttons and the workouts if you read the pamphlet that they provide. This does not come with the ability to wheel it around. It weighs 200 pounds and moving it under our bed would never work because of the consul sticking out and not folding flat. But I wanted a decent treadmill that has a good wide tread like the ones in the gym and it has a very long belt so that my 5 foot 10” frame can stride out in long strides without worrying about coming to the end of the tread belt. I’ve already started training my service dog to get on the treadmill so that we don’t have to go out into the park on rainy days for him to run! I am a professional runner in the past, half marathon, marathon, and also at any distance shorter. I have never stopped running and have been in good shape all my life. I only run on the street every day for 8 miles. But now in New York it is constantly snowing, and it is very slippery, dirty and dangerous to cross the streets at times. I had to buy this treadmill to be able to run and not be affected by the weather. Great professional track !! Very solid, durable, stylish, large, more than enough for a full, quality run. Many programs, enough speeds and inclines. I have been choosing a treadmill on Amazon for a long time, and chose the XTERRA Fitness TR300 Folding Treadmill. I am very glad that I bought it, after a long search. Delivered very quickly, assembly is very simple, my husband and son assembled it in 30 minutes. Works perfectly, quietly, smoothly.
