I am a professional runner in the past, half marathon, marathon, and also at any distance shorter. I have never stopped running and have been in good shape all my life. I only run on the street every day for 8 miles. But now in New York it is constantly snowing, and it is very slippery, dirty and dangerous to cross the streets at times.     • Very nice treadmill for a great price

First, definitely get someone to help while assembling, you'll need an extra hand to hold parts in place while you bolt them together. Second, use your own allen wrench and 13mm wrench. The ones that come with it are pretty cheesy. Assembly only took me and my wife about an hour. Pretty simple and straightforward. The cables all have different plug types so you cannot connect anything incorrectly. Once assembled the calibration test ran fine. As for use, it's quiet, quiet enough that I can watch TV while using it. The belt is comfortable to walk on, changing from one to another speed is nice and smooth. The display is easy to read and controls are very nicely laid out. Folding up is easy as well, just lift up on the back end of the unit and it easily raises and locks into place. Taking it down is even easier, release the catch and it lowers itself. This is the first treadmill I've ever owned and I think we'll get great use out of it. Being in Houston, going outside for a walk is pretty miserable most of the year so it will be nice to walk inside. ... show more

This arrived in very sturdy packaging and nothing was broken or cracked-no screws were missing. Everything was the way it should be. Assembling the arms takes two people. I don’t think you could assemble this by yourself unless you have a really long arms! The things I like about this treadmill is that it isn’t as big as I thought it was going to be as we have a very small duplex. It will fold up but it really doesn’t save that much space for us to fold it up out-of-the-way so we just leave it down. This looks like a very well-built sturdy treadmill that is very much like the ones that I work out in the gym. I tried working out barefoot because my workout shoes hurt my feet. It’s like walking on concrete! So I am waiting for some gym shoes to arrive from Amazon. I do walking in some sandals and that has worked for the short time until I get some decent shoes. The thing that I have had the worst problem with with this treadmill is that it is on an incline without pressing the incline button. The front is about an inch and a half taller than the back and so trying to walk level I find myself leaning forward like I am scaling a hill! I am in very bad shape which is why I bought the treadmill but I can walk around our park without a problem but I can only walk five minutes at a time on this treadmill because of the incline. I read on another review that the husband just put a 2 x 4 under the legs in the back to raise it up to level so that it doesn’t feel like I am charging up the hill. I am pretty certain that will work. It is very easy to figure out the buttons and the workouts if you read the pamphlet that they provide. This does not come with the ability to wheel it around. It weighs 200 pounds and moving it under our bed would never work because of the consul sticking out and not folding flat. But I wanted a decent treadmill that has a good wide tread like the ones in the gym and it has a very long belt so that my 5 foot 10” frame can stride out in long strides without worrying about coming to the end of the tread belt. I’ve already started training my service dog to get on the treadmill so that we don’t have to go out into the park on rainy days for him to run! Love the machine! Great value! My machine came with a shredded drive belt. We assembled it ourselves, but it was apparent someone had returned the unit because of the drive belt (there was oil on the hand holds, the plastic jacket over the drive belt was torn from its securing screws, and as soon as we started the machine, there was a flopping noise). We resolved the drive belt replacement with a simple phone call, however, it was very disappointing to receive such a large object with an avoidable issue. As for the treadmill, it is sturdy, versatile, well priced, moveable, and sized right. Despite our issues with the drive belt, we were able to use the machine safely while awaiting repair. I’ve never written a review before, but have had such a good experience with the machine, I wanted to share that with other buyers. FYI - it has taken an entire month to resolve the shredded drive belt. ... show more

I have used this treadmill (nearly) everyday since it arrived. Its very smooth, quiet, and it transitions speed/incline seemlessly! Plenty of width and length for jogging and running, too, which is exactly what I needed and most other cheaper treadmills did not offer that space. I was finding other cheaper treadmills to have a belt width of 16/17”. Not good enough. This one is perfect. It has speed presets on the dashboard (3, 6 and 9) for easy access, I really like that feature. It has the same digit presets for incline too, less of a necessity for me personally, but still neat! I havent played with any of the preset programs yet (too intimidated lol) but they’re there and theres quite a bit too! The cupholders are pretty large and should fit most waterbottles, another nice feature. The tray to set phones/tablets on is a little too small, I have an Iphone X and my phone won’t rest there safely, without the fear of slipping off, I have a pretty slim fitting case on too, so I genuinely believe the “shelf” is just too short. All in all it really is a quality treadmill, I love it and I will continue to get a lot of use out of it! Setting it up took just under an hour between 2 people, the most annoying part was holding the side bars steady enough for the other person to line the bolts up perfectly.     • Horrible Assembly- Many production errors.

We opened the box and it looked nice initially but as we were putting it together we ran into many issues: 1) the support bar for underneath the treadmill wasn’t even screwed on, it was dangling but the bolt was already inserted so we had to take apart the whole top to get to it to unscrew the bolt then attach the bar and screw back it in. Very difficult process. 2) the bar that goes to the arm handles was drilled completely different from the pilot holes given so we had to drill new holes in the metal piece. 3) the aux insert for music is slightly covered by the cover on the front of the machine making it difficult to plug the cord in. 4) and most annoying part. After all that, we plugged it in and it didn’t work! Luckily my husband is an electrician and was able to test wires and then had to eventually “un-hotglue” a wire going into the circuit board because the connection wasn’t probably inserted. Then maneuver it to fit tighter. Defiantly didn’t pay all that money to have to go through and fix all the work that should’ve been done. But with it being so huge and heavy we tried to take it into our own hands before returning it and luckily we figured it all out. But yeah save your time and energy and look at other treadmills where assembly will be professionally done. ... show more

Cushioned deck makes it more comfortable than others. The fan is nice but really does not put out much air. The lift assist is great. Assembly was not difficult but does require 2 people. Great price for all the features & quality.

Treadmill works great now, but had issues at first as display would not turn on. After contacting very nice support center, tech helped me find a wire that had come unplugged during shipping. The treadmill on 0° incline is not flat. We put a level on it and it's off by about the width of a man's pinky finger. While this doesn't seem like a lot, it is in respect of how fast I previously ran/walked on my old treadmill that was more level. This is ok for me as I can build up to where I was and the extra incline gives a better workout, but some may not like this. Overall I like the features on this treadmill. I have tried one of the programs so far. The only dislike that I have is that the fan is basically useless. It's not very strong, it blows on the midsection of a person, so doesn't really do much good. I bought a fan to put in one of the 2 cupholders so another easy fix. ... show more
