Loved these lights, easy to install even though not a US mount outlet, just drill four holes and you are done and faster than doing a US mount too. Love the app too, a little complicated but easy to master and you can do anything you want, change color, set times to go off and on, dawn to dusk and anything you want to do. I didn't have to call Customer service either as the app is fairly straight forward. Liked the ability to change light colors or do a light show too which is nice for a dinner party on the deck or Christmas lighting, etc. Could be a little brighter but very good for mood and party lighting. I have no complaints. Hooking up to your internet server takes patience but it's well spelled out in the included easy to understand written instructions that usually are not included these days in any electronics or lighting. The main case is aluminum too which seems to be sturdy and well made. The light lens is high grade plastic which diffuses light perfectly. All in all looks well made and durable. I have tried out many lights for my back patio and these are keepers. I hope the company comes out with the same light in a taller version and with 2000 lm (these have 1400 lm which are good enough for most purposes). I have two installed and am using the gold color which gives off a great aura over my patio and looks like a 2300 kv light. Highly recommend! ... show more

These lights are as described and even better! I was a little skeptical at first that these would be bright enough to function as driveway lights but they are plenty bright enough - in fact I usually set them to about 40% brightness which is plenty for my needs. The fact that they can operated at various white temperatures or as colored bulbs is really great. I user them in coordination with my path lights and change colors for different occasions. These are fully wired electrical fixtures so you might need an electrician if you are not familiar with how to do that. I replaced 2 40 year old carriage lights with these and instantly achieved a newer, more modern look. So, these lights do what they are advertised to do and do it well. The one thing I wish Xmcosy would change is the reliance on wifi and the cloud for connectivity. The use of Matter, Thread, Zigbee or Z-wave would avoid this and make them far more flexible with smart home platforms like Smartthings or Home Assistant. ... show more

I purchased the XMCOSY+ Smart Outdoor Wall Lights as a replacement for some standard outdoor lamps on our house. The Smart Outdoor Wall Lights are similar in design and appearance to the XMOCSY+ Smart Low Voltage Landscape Lights that we added last year. They are adjustable in light intensity and color as well as angle of illumination. They are controllable through the XMCOY app and/or with smart home assistants' voice commands. The fixtures include mounting hardware, accessories and instructions. The lamps are hardwired for standard voltage. Installation is more involved and time-consuming than their low-voltage packages. Because the exterior walls are stucco, my installation was a bit more involved. Results may vary. It appears to me that the lamp is designed to mount to wood or drywall surfaces. The included mounting hardware does not accommodate standard electrical boxes. I chose to mount the lamps to a block that was mounted to the exterior electrical box. The installation will most certainly need some exterior caulking for weather-proofing. The lamp size is smaller than the existing lamps but they are certainly just as bright. Overall impression is that the lamps are attractive, solid and well-constructed. The company is devoted to customer satisfaction. I can recommend the lights, yet I am concerned about their ability to stand up to the rain and winter weather. ... show more
