I ordered this sturdy aluminum LED wall sconce in brown by XMCOSY+ for adorning my front entrance. It is a wonderful, modern and practical light fixture. Above all, it has the ability to easily adjust the angle of the upper and lower lights independently. It allows me to easily fill in areas of my porch that are normally dark spots - particularly in the corner. This light fixture is very modern looking and really high quality. The fact that they can also change colors, and with Alexa is a really cool bonus. With my previous fixture, I had to disassemble for every holiday to make color changes by switching out bulbs. I gotta say this is a weird looking light. Very modern. It's bright though and the ability to angle the lights is pretty cool. Build quality is fine as is the smart feature. Really nice to be able to turn the light on and off with Google and change the colors. My biggest gripe is the wires. They give toy about 4 inches if wire to work with. I had to rig up a bungee cord to hold the light in place because you don't have enough wire to safely put it down while working on it. Also, with so little wire, it was hard to push the firm, solid core wires back in place, so I couldn't get the fixture seated properly against the wall. If they'd have given you a foot of wire instead it would have been much better. ... show more

The wall light is well constructed with metal case, it comes with standard installation base for wall mount. There is a switch that I can switch the light to different modes: Warm/cool white, different colors or transition across different colors. The upper and lower light can be turned to different angles. The only thing I think can be improved is the 3 wires are quite short, they should be at least double the length to make it much easier to install. Initially I wanted to install their XMcozy App it's review only has 2.3 stars so I don't even bother to install it and just use the switch to set the color I wanted. ... show more

    • It Makes a Good Desk Lamp
I had this in my hands and knew immediately it will make a great outdoor wall light. You can place it vertical as shown on this product page, or place if horizontal depending on where you want the light. I decide to use it in my office, in front of my desk. I have overhead lighting and I don't like it. My desk faces a wall that is painted a dark burgundy and makes the room even darker at night. I mounted this light horizontally with the main lights pointing up. and the top and bottom lights point to the side. This works great. I have lighting behind the monitors and the room is illuminated with light that is pleasant. On the front porch it works even better. It lights up the entire area without shining a lot of light on the Ring Doorbell. I am going to order several more and replace all the outside lights. A very highly reconned this and similar lights from XMCOSY+.. Highly recommended and search Amazon for the best pricing. ... show more

    • Cool versatile lights that are perfect for my backyard

I had been searching for months to find the right light for my back patio and this one perfectly fit the bill. I didn't know exactly what kind of light I was looking for but when I saw this one with rotating heads I finally understood. The rotating heads give you the option of using the light as either direct lighting or ambient lighting that disperses against your house. It also gives you the option to rotate the lights toward areas you might be hosting dinner or an area your dogs go out at night. Either way, the flexibility is cool and unique. The XMcosy app is one of the more attractively designed Chinese-built iOS apps that I've come across, though equally as invasive as the rest. The app uses Bluetooth to control the light but will require you to enter your wifi credentials nonetheless. I always advise people to allow these apps the MINIMUM amount of access to your device as you can as there are many nefarious things going on with your data in foreign countries. My only gripe with this light is a 2-3 second delay from when you flip the lightswitch to when it actually turns on. When it does come on, the light turns on gradually over about a second which is a pleasing transition. ... show more

    • These Faulty Smart Lights Are A Total Waste Of Money!
Ugh, I'm so bummed about these XMCOSY outdoor wall lights. They seemed really cool at first - smart lights you can control with an app for your porch? Sign me up! But after trying to install them, I quickly realized these things are totally defective. What a letdown! I carefully mounted the light fixtures by my front door, thinking my entrance was about to look so sleek. I downloaded the app, connected to the lights, and when I tried to turn them on...nothing! Nada! They wouldn't budge. I tried resetting them, reconnecting, everything I could think of and they still refused to work. So frustrating because they weren't cheap! I was expecting a quality smart light I could use to set the mood on my porch. Instead, I got useless junk that won't even turn on. I even tried to contact the company and got no reply. Don't waste your hard-earned cash on these dud lights like I did. For smart exterior lighting that actually works, you'll have to look elsewhere. These XMCOSY wall lamps are a massive fail in my book. I wish I could give no stars! Definitely sticking to dumb lights from now on. ... show more
