  • Easy to use and good quality
Set name: MoGo 4 Laser
Picture quality: The colors are very vibrant but I wish overall this could be brighter. It is great for projecting on ceilings or lighter colored walls but if the surface is darker it struggles a bit more. There are a lot of image quality settings and if it is battery powered you should increase brightness to get the most out of it. However, I am pleased with contrast which helps the blacks look black and the border around the keystone fades away more easily. Keystone: It works very well. I am coming from a BenQ projector that was used for a home cinema and can say this is so much easier to setup anywhere. It works reliably and if you're not happy just move it slightly. You can manually adjust too but I haven't had much need. Audio: It's very good for the portable size that also includes a projector but it's not as good as a dedicated Bluetooth speaker. Bass is a bit lacking but it does get loud and is clear. Size & weight: It's a good size and very portable. It's easy to carry around giving it an edge in my opinion as a complete system. Controls: This comes with a large backlit remote that is easy to see in the dark and has good shortcuts. It also comes with a small remote attached to the projector and it's great for carrying around. This is definitely one area it beats it's competitors. Software: Easy to use and very intuitive. It's also snappy and boots up quickly. Battery life: Could be better but some of these portable projectors don't come with a battery built in. It depends on brightness level but you definitely want the maximum brightness. Some movies will be too long to watch on battery alone. Other ones I would consider: Nebula Mars 3 or TCL Playcube for greater brightness but they have other downsides. The non-laser version of the mogo version is cheaper but I got a decent deal on prime day. ... show more

  • Premium, Travel Friendly, Vibrant Projector Bundle!!
Set name: MoGo 4 Laser Bundle
It's hard to describe just how cool this entire collection is. If you want the full experience of a portable lifestyle projector look no other place. The kit comes with everything you need for a fun movie night just about anywhere. The packaging, projector, and accessories are all of great quality. Xgimi really hit a home run with the design. The projector is super portable, very responsive with google tv operating system. The laser version is brighter than expected, the colors are so vibrant. I was honestly shocked how well it looked. The included 70 inch projector screen is so easy to set up and take back down. The speakers on the projector are very loud for the size, but you can always connect an external bluetooth speaker for a louder theater experience. The auto focus and keystone correction is so accurate and extremely fast. There is a full size HDMI and usb c connection on the included stand that has a battery built in! This is not a cheap projector by any means, but when you hold it, you can tell it is a premium device. There are two remotes included, one backlit remote and one small remote attached to the projector for when you are traveling. Pick up a set on sale!! you won't be disappointed!! ... show more

  • Amazing projector
Set name: MoGo 4 Laser
I did a ton of research before buying, and this projector exceeded my expectations. One of my big concerns was the angle, but auto keystone correction takes care of all of that. You can set it to the side and project at an angle, and the auto correction will adjust to a perfect screen position. Great versatility. Excellent sound. Super clear picture. Google tv was a snap to set up and you can use all the standard streaming apps. I was hesitant because it’s not a big brand name that I knew, but this brand is well known for projectors. So happy with this purchase. ... show more

  • Remotes are not good, projector is though.
Set name: MoGo 4 Laser
The projector is awesome. I've set it up backpacking, in the backyard, and in the living room. It performs very well. Definitely needs low light, like any projector I guess. My issue is the remote, both of them. The larger one quit working, and its been just over a month since I got it. The smaller remote is almost useless, it doesn't function very well at all. I tried replacing the batteries in the large remote, nothing. It seems to be completely dead after only a month. The smaller one is terrible and will have to work until I get a replacement remote. For $700 I'd expect the remote to last longer than 30 days. Maybe I'm asking too much. ... show more

  • Excellent All-Around Experience
Set name: MoGo 4 Laser Bundle
I'm very impressed with this projector. For such a compact device, the picture quality is sharp and bright, and the built-in speakers are quite good. The setup is straightforward, largely thanks to the automatic focus and keystone correction features which work well. I also want to mention the excellent customer service. I had a few questions before making my purchase, and their support team was very responsive and knowledgeable. It helped me feel confident in my decision. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Finicky 😐 Cool Form Factor Tho Finicky 😐 Cool Form Factor Tho
Set name: MoGo 4 Laser Bundle
UPDATE: 6 months later power base no longer charges. Its now just a stand. 🤨 The build quality is nice feels like a good product it has a nice finish. The foam case is a bit cheap. It's a foam case. Like a foam cooler it serves it's purpose and that's about it. The projector screen is a nice bedsheet quality sorta. The panda thing ... yeah don't really care for it. I couldn't find a bundle with the projector and powerbase stand in the Laser model. It is available in the LED version and maybe I should have saved hundreds of dollars and bought that because this LASER version is not worth the extra price. The image quality is good but best when its not too far from the wall or screen I'd say maybe to where it's a 60 maybe 70 inch projection and it's also best shooting straight out. When you project at an angle or from the side areas the brightness colors and clarity differs. The side further away with be dimmer and less clear. The laser part of it gets the reds in a bright red glow. And the faces are red. Sure you can make adjustments but trying to get it right is a bit challenging. When I initially turned this on the keystone worked perfectly and it got it right the first time. I thought wow they got it right. But I spoke too soon bc it can't seem to get it right and requires manual tuning. Focus is ok but the part of the screen that's further away is not as clear. Like I said it's best when level. There are a ton of adjustments and features some of which I don't know what it does I flip them on and off and see nothing changes. And sometimes it will show you the powerbase charge level and sometimes it won't on a sub menu 🤔 Performance mode is unuseable. It says doesn't work on battery or 3rd party accessories ... what? 🤨 The speaker sounds good enough to where you don't need a sound bar. It's cool in it's form factor but the remote doesn't work if your behind the projector. You also cannot turn the projector ON with the remote unless you have the power adapter plugged in. 🙄 The stand is nice but it's not clear if it's charged 100% or not. Battery life goes fast but your good for a 2hr movie and with the stand 5hrs. There are a slew of data collecting mess on here. It's so invasive. The online connecting works good but I just use a firestick. If you use a streaming stick you don't need a power converter. The USB port handles it just fine. I like it for the most part but get the LED version with powerbase and save yourself $300-$400. In the photo I compare the mogo 4 laser on the right with the original Mogo Pro. It's not that much better in picture quality. Sure it has some other features but picture quality should be number 1 and it's not that much better than the original that came out 5 yrs ago. Not worth $800 😕 The filter things are gimmicky and if you need a lamp for ambiance you're probably better off with a designated lamp. What they should have done is have more moving lights maybe even a disco ball effect 🤪 I made filters almost like gel filters that we use in film to cover those nifty magnetic attachments. This is where you can make the images truly vivid and have a great picture without the contrast lighting up the bright spots. There's one that really improves the picture and you don't need an expensive screen. 🤫 I like this projector overall. The picture is good and has plenty of brightness the sound is good you don't need a soundbar the power stand is cool giving you real usable power for more than just 1 movie. This will last an entire football game and then some. Why not 5 stars then. The price is way too high. I just wanted this projector with a power base but they didn't have that combo so I had to buy this package. It won't turn on with the remote. For $800 it should turn on via remote. The keystoning doesn't work as well as when I first took it out. 🤔 It's a good projector but for the money you have to think too much. ... show more

  • Sold Because of Issues With Playing Live TV
Set name: MoGo 4 Laser Bundle
I spent $857.64 on this Mogo 4 Laser kit with the primary intention of watching ESPN, YouTube and Rumble while working out in the morning and also point it at a ceiling for two hours two nights a week while doing a passive exercise, and this meant watching Sunday Night Football for half the year. This projector could not handle live TV, as the ESPN and NBC Sports apps produced ultra-choppy and unwatchable video. I reached out to XGIMI on September 23 and was told by support that an update was coming. After continually writing and led to believe the team would fix the live-TV issues, I changed my review here to one star and shared it with them. This got their attention, and a new support agent told me that this was the first time he heard about issues with live TV. So someone on support was lying to me, and this confirmed that no fix was on the way. I told him I just sold this projector, and he sent me out a Vibe One projector for free as compensation. Incredibly, this cheaper projector plays live TV without issues. The Mogo 4 Laser is a sleek Ferrari of a projector with excellent design and gorgeous but inaccurate color, but my particular unit could not drive around the block without stuttering on apps I most wanted to watch. I gave up on it entirely when trying to watch the Winter Olympics on it because the choppiness was so bad and because support had been lackluster, and, perhaps, just full of lies. I credit the one agent at the end who sent me out a free Vibe One projector as compensation, but I still lost a ton of money on this. It's also worth noting that XGIMI also released its pricey Horizon 20 lineup with broken functionality. Reviews are mixed resultingly, as people expect finished products upon release. XGIMI seems to be more interested in shipping and NOT finishing products, leaving customers with some broken promises and functionality. ... show more

It’s really bright, and the colors are amazing — way better than any other projector I’ve owned. It’s a bit pricey, but you really get everything you need. I’d recommend everyone get the bundle with the portable screen and bag — it basically turns this portable projector into my TV. Can’t wait to take it with me on my next camping trip ... show more
