  • Excellent,very good Excellent,very good
Mogo 2 Pro is an intelligent projector that is perfect for anyone who is looking for a portable and high-quality display. It is equipped with the advanced Android TV 11 system that delivers an outstanding performance, making it a perfect choice for all your entertainment needs. One of the most impressive features of Mogo 2 Pro is its ability to support multi-screen display, which means you can easily mirror your smartphone or tablet screen on the projector for a more immersive viewing experience. Whether you are streaming your favorite TV show or playing games with friends, Mogo 2 Pro ensures that you have the best display possible. The projector's portability makes it ideal for outdoor activities such as camping or backyard parties. It's easy to carry around and set up, so you can enjoy your favorite movies and shows no matter where you are. The image quality is superb, with vibrant colors and outstanding brightness, even in low-light conditions. Mogo 2 Pro also comes with a built-in speaker system that delivers incredible audio quality, making your entertainment experience more immersive than ever before. The sound quality is clear and crisp, and it's powerful enough to fill a small to medium-sized room. Another noteworthy feature of Mogo 2 Pro is its Type-C port, which makes it easy to connect to an external power source. While the projector doesn't come with an internal battery, this feature allows you to use it for extended periods without worrying about the battery life. Although the lack of an internal battery may be considered a drawback for some users, it's important to note that even projectors with built-in batteries can have limited battery life. With Mogo 2 Pro, you can easily connect it to a power bank or any other Type-C enabled device, which is incredibly convenient, especially when you're on the go. In conclusion, despite the lack of an internal battery, Mogo 2 Pro remains an excellent choice for anyone who values portability, high-quality display, and immersive audio. With its Android TV 11 system, multi-screen display, and easy-to-use features, this projector is a must-have for movie lovers, gamers, and anyone who enjoys entertainment on the go. ... show more

  • Great quality we love it
Set name: MoGo 2 Pro New
I honestly love this projector, the image seems clear, the sound is not the best but is enough for us, is easy to set up (just the first time you have to setup your Gmail account, for the future times you use it is just plug and play.

  • Great image small issues
I have mixed feelings on this projector. The image quality is excellent with clear and vibrant colors even projected at about 100inches on plan drywall. The built-in speakers are clear and get sufficiently loud. However, in my experience the projector struggles with HDMI connections, causing sound clipping unless I connect an external speaker. This projector is not netflix licensed and you must download a work around app which at the time of writing this does not work or support streaming. It’s disappointing at the premium price point of this product. It has great visuals but needs technical improvements to make it worth it. Updated: Raised a star after XGIMI support reached out to help trouble shoot. The HDMI issue was partially resolved it seems to be an issue with using HDMI to USB C. HDMI to HDMI works fine with audio in my experience. Addressing the Netflix issue though XGIMI still does not have official licensing for this product they were kind enough to provide me a tv stick to use with the project with Netflix on it. Overall I think this is a decent projector especially if you can catch it on a sale it can be a great value. ... show more

  • Top-flight projector for indoor and outdoor use
This is my third XGIMI projector purchased this year. I use it primarily to play nature videos and some movies while I work, using an XGIMI Elfin as an external computer monitor. The XGIMI Mogo 2 Pro is very colorful and produces a sharp image with any need for manual attention, unlike some other projectors in this price class (I'm lookin' at you, Samsung Freestyle). The Mogo 2 Pro is very versatile in that it can serve as an affordable native-1080p projector indoors and can easily be used outside. I think XGIMI made the smart move by leaving out the battery, giving people the option to run extension cords or use power banks or portable power stations. For its size, the speakers are outstanding. Live TV content comes across loud, but some movies, especially older ones, can be much softer in volume. This is just how content is handled by movie studios, going for the quiet-loud dynamics. It would be helpful to have a setting for volume boosting or, even better, volume normalization. Performance when switching between apps can be a bit slow, but it's not a dealbreaker. The picture is outstanding, and this can be used adequately in bright rooms at 20 to maybe 30 inches. In the dark, you'll have no trouble going 80 to 100 or even more inches. A projector renaissance is happening, and projectors are going to become the go-tos over TVs because these lifestyle projectors that market leaders such as XGIMI are releasing are making it so easy to have a TV anywhere you go. :) ... show more

  • This is probably an unfair rating but... This is probably an unfair rating but...
I'm basing it on my very specific situation. I'm using this at my off grid camp to watch "good" movies on. There are a few things that make this projector less than ideal for that application. I decided to sacrifice some energy efficiency in favor of brightness. This is a problem since I only have solar and the battery packs I haul out there to provide electricity. This was a bad decision for a couple of reasons. 1. it uses 65 watts of power. I didn't really believe the claim and figured it was an overestimate but it does use that. 65 watts is not a small amount on limited energy. The 42 inch TV I have out there uses less than 25. You can power it from a battery brick but most bricks don't put out that amount of wattage and if they do they won't last long. 2 or 3 hours compared to the 2 or 3 hours that other models will last with a built in battery. 2. I got this because of the 400 lumen rating where most other "portable" projectors are 300 or less. if this translated into a noticeably different real world picture I would be ok with this tradeoff. but I still think this is wasted in anything but a blacked out room. Don't misunderstand me..you can see this with light. but it's nothing like my BenQ HT2050A which feels perfectly fine to watch in a completely illuminated room. AS such... I probably would've gone with a lower brightness/better power usage model if I did it over again. It works fine. gets the job done. It just uses too much power for my liking. Some quirks..... it's also difficult to get it to change to HDMI input. I haven't found a way to switch input with the remote (but I'm sure it's possible). I just unplug and replug HDMI and it will almost always recognize and switch. The auto keystone is also a bit aggravating IMO. If you want your picture to look even and perfect keystone is the devil. Auto keystone makes it harder than it already is to find the perfect center for the projector on your screen. ... show more

  • Very happy with Mogo 2 Pro Very happy with Mogo 2 Pro
This is my first projector and I am very pleased with it. For movies, it does struggle in daylight, but works perfectly fine at dusk and later. With bright colors such as white, it honestly works perfectly fine in daylight. Sound - very good, clear sound, not bass heavy or muddy. It’s not super loud though and it will depend on how the sound was made for what you’re playing. I had no trouble listening in a small room and a larger open room. My preference is to wear headphones to block out ambient noise and I was able to pair mine successfully. No problems watching Amazon movies, YouTube and AppleTV. It was a little bugging signing into my accounts, it just needs time to fully sync. The only issue I have is that Amazon movies are mainly widescreen, so much of the potential screen area is lost. And the image sits within a “frame”, so on widescreen this is pretty noticeable at first. I imagine this issue would happen with any projector. Note that the projector is not adjustable, it just sits flat. There is a separate adjustable stand from Xgimi. On this note, keystone works best on a flat surface, I tried using a tripod but I guess it wasn’t even and I couldn’t get keystone to adjust properly. Overall, I’m glad I got this one. The price was just over $500 incl tax. I was debating getting the LG cinebeam for airplay, but airplay is not necessary for watching movies. The Xgimi uses chromecast/google and this works perfectly fine, since I’m able to log into everything from the projector. I was also able to cast the NFL app from my iPad, it popped up automatically when I had the Xgimi and iPad app open. ... show more

  • Not what I expected
Set name: MoGo 2 Pro New
Unfortunately this projector does not work as intended. I spent several hours installing “GoogleTV” (it’s the only way to download streaming apps). It then puts you through an endless loop of signing in and installing apps that don’t recognize you have already signed in. It does not screen play via IOS, it is an android operating system. It takes a really long time to download the apps, on really high speed internet. Online support, troubleshooting did not work. Don’t waste your time like I did. If you choose to only use their “live tv” option that also doesn’t work. It’s limited to YouTube, Netflix and Prime. After factory resetting and trying the live tv option it said there was an error loading apps. Not an internet issue, just a garbage product. ... show more

  • The leader in the portable projector
This projector is the one to beat. it checks all the boxes that you would expect in a portable projector. Having owned other portable projectors this one is as close to perfect that I've seen. Picture quality is amazing 1080p, HDR and the colors on this projector make viewing enjoyable. Brightness is excellent for the size of the unit, cant get another projector thats brighter without going with a bigger projector. note when using anything besides the power supply that the projector comes with, the projector defaults to eco mode which is dimmer then full power, this can be disable in settings. The autofocus is pretty amazing on this projector, some of the other portable projectors that ive used that have auto focus do a decent job but tend to lose focus once the lens starts getting warm which then requires manually triggering autofocus again, but not this unit, on start up it autofocuses and doesnt lose focus and even if you move the projector it automatically autofocuses again, its awesome. Same thing with keystone correction, just point the projector where you would like to use as a screen and the projector does the rest, this is huge for a portable projector because this tends to be the most finicky part, not here point and enjoy. this projector runs android tv 11 which has all your streaming needs no complaints their, as for Netflix it can be easily sideloaded, in the box are the instructions and works very well. few notes, with an update the projector has been fixed from a bug that wouldnt let a 4k source (ex gaming console) project in HDR, it works now. and now for a few cons first is the control, even though its more then sufficient, the fit and finish feels a bit lacking and the ergonomics are not as i would hope, and the center button is flat instead of concave which makes it easier to distinguish the buttons in the dark without looking at the controller, kind of nitpicking but when you've used other well made and well designed controllers you notice the little things that make a differance. and last is android tv, even though it has android tv 11 which has everything you could want and need it would be nice to have the most modern and current operating system, android tv 13 if nothing else at least for futureproofing the device for a while. but honestly if you've been looking and comparing portable projectors, this one will not disappoint. it really is the best in its class, good job XGIMI. ... show more
