The media could not be loaded. I used these to repair some eyelets that had worn out on my Danner work boots. I liked that they offered different lengths based on how thick of material you needed to go through. I used #8-8 for my boots and it worked great! Using the installation tool by hand is tricky and I didn't have success that way. After putting the tool in the drill press, lining up the bottom die, and carefully holding the boot and eyelet in place, it was perfect! I used a drop of super glue to keep the bottom die in place on top of the vise so it wouldn't move around and stay lined up.

Both the rivets and the setter are such high quality products it has almost made me wax poetical. I swear my eyes wetted slightly when I examined the goods! Yes, there are some reviews that said they had problems. And I had a few, too. But I learned that this tool isn't fool proof. You *NEED* to make sure the bottom of the eyelet sits in the recess, or you'll have alignment issues or even split some of the eyes. Make sure you're seated, and it works perfect.
