I’ve been using this printer in a small home office setup. Overall it does what I need it to do. Print speed is genuinely fast and text quality is crisp, so no complaints there. For black and white docs it looks clean and professional. Copying is straightforward and the RADF is helpful if you’re scanning multi‑page stuff. Setup wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t totally seamless either. WiFi took a couple attempts and the interface feels slightly dated. Once it’s connected it works fine, but I did have one or two moments where it disappeared from the network and needed a restart. Not a deal breaker, just mildly annoying. Build quality feels decent for the price. It’s not super premium but it doesn’t feel cheap either. Toner cost is something to keep in mind, like most laser printers, the upfront price is one thing and the supplies are another. If you’re looking for a fast, black‑and‑white all‑in‑one for a small office and you’re not expecting it to be magical, this is a pretty solid option. Our story starts, as is all too common these days, with a QR code and an app--the QR code is there on the box before you even open it! They really made the setup quite easy, so I recommend using them. Great technology! In hindsight, I also recommend following the printed illustrations page that is included, which tells you exactly where all the tape and packing material are located. For some reason I blew past the most important one, which is the printing cartridge--open the door, pull the handle, and remove the cartridge, then carefully take off the wrap surrounding it. If you don't, you can't print, and the machine will tell you exactly what to do too because it's that smart. After all the packing stuff is removed (and it's mostly very easy, it's just there's lots of it, and it did an excellent job shipping the unit so it arrived in perfect condition), then put in some paper and plug that baby in. Know your wifi password and let the app, QR codes, and machine prompts lead you through the process. I did have to rescan the code a few different times but still had this set up and printing (beautifully!) in a very short amount of time (maybe 15 minutes?), and I'm no tech person either, LOL! I have to also include a shout-out to Xerox for having an easy to read and use screen on this unit; past printers have been difficult to read, but this one's clear and bright; thank you! We printed from three different systems: two PC and one Mac desktop, and they all connected quickly and delivered excellent print quality documents fast (if you're curious, the PCs use Firefox and Chrome browsers, which give you different printing options such as checking a box that saves ink, for example). This unit has so much more to explore: it can copy, fax, scan, etc.--but we are mostly using it as a printer, and it's exceeding expectations there.
