  • Good quality

I got this for my son and he loves it, of course. Good quality gaming system.

  • Grea Deal and Good Console Bundle
Style: Single
I love this bundle. I ordered it on Friday 11/23/2018 and it came on Saturday the next day. I have prime so I'm happy that it arrived early. About the packaging, it was nicely done and my System was fine. I hooked everything up and there was no problems. My system came with all the Minecraft gaming stuff and other add-ons as well as a Xbox Live trial codes, which amounts to a 2-week and 1 month. The controller works fine, came with batteries. My system's update didn't take long and only about 45 min to an hour. Once that was done my storage was 780 GB, which I don't know what happened that caused 220 GB to be gone. I guess after I put my gaming account on my System, it took up space with some stuff transferred over. I waited a couple of weeks to write this review to see if anything went wrong and it hasn't yet. I bought this deal because I'm in college and do not get much income. This bundle was truly a good pick and I'm glad I made this decision. I read many reviews before picking my final choice. I just went with my gut, so I choice the closest bundle to my liking and based on how much I had to spend. Of course it was a Black Friday recommendation which played a role too. I would recommend this to a friend. In the future I will update if needed. ... show more

  • Good Deal At $199
Style: Single
Received 3 days earlier than earliest estimate. As for Xbox One itself: kind of crazy you have to wait about an hour before being able to play a game, what with installation downloads and such. Either way, top notch graphics and sound. I’m quite pleased, even though I’m still not quite playing. As others said, the 1TB Xbox One S Minecraft bundle is a steal at $199.00. It comes with the console set (including one wireless controller), and several redemption codes for Minecraft and related perks. I can’t understand why this was so cheap. The next cheapest bundle is $30 more, and somehow, the console alone costs $45 more. Why even bother with that last one (I tried posting a review on the solo console pointing this out, but they wouldn’t let me)? Anyway, hopefully, others find this helpful. It is cheaper, great delivery time, and is a quality game console with a huge multiplayer network. UPDATE: Looks like price went up. Didn’t notice it was a special. Still doesn’t make sense why they would have had it that cheap for a sale. I hope others had been able to avail of that offer, as well. ... show more

  • Awesome console. Double check your codes!
Style: Single
Awesome deal! You get so much with this bundle. My kid is having a blast. Aside from the Minecraft bundle you also get 14 days of Live and supposedly a 1 month free of Game pass. I contacted Amazon because I did not receive the code for the game pass. They told me to contact Microsoft. The email I sent thru Amazon was rejected. I ended up saying screw it and signed up for game pass ultimate for $15 a month. But it is worth mentioning that it did not come with the game pass. It is a great console and works great. I wish it came with 2 controllers. Had to pick up another. ... show more

  • Great system so far.
Style: Single
Awesome. The package came undamaged, and the unit worked flawlessly right out of the box. I thought that I would need my grandson to help me, but the included instructions were easily understandable for setup. As a result, I (and I alone) had it up and running within 20-30 minutes. I had some difficulty with microsoft’s user interface menu at first (home screen). However, I, after a few minutes, figured out where and how to setup xbox live gold and redeem my codes. I love it. This was an excellent price. Great unit for the grandkids to play with when they visit. I have to admit that I played it almost all day Saturday. ... show more

  • Not practical for kids

As a parent of an almost 8 year old (who wanted this console for Christmas from Santa) and not being a gamer myself, and having purchased numerous consoles within the past 3 years. As I parent I hate this stupid thing! It ISN’T user friendly! You’re going to have to create a million stupid accounts with a million different passwords and even worst, have to remember them all! This functions more like a pc connected to a video game controller which is super frustrating! Especially when your trying to get this damn thing set to for your child. It took me hours! The wii, wii-u and switch were incredibly easy. But not the Xbox, not Microsoft! It required me creating way too many accts just to get it to function and it wasn’t easy to figure out at all. Who wants and needs to create a new emails just to create Microsoft accts and I still don’t understand why it couldn’t just be simple. Why so many hoops and barrels? It also constantly puts limits on my sons acct even when I try to reset the limits they don’t ever stick, and needs authorization for EVERYTHING. If you purchase coins, good luck figuring out how to get them to load to your child’s acct. it took me hours to upload the virtual gift card, HOURS. (They have to first be purchased on my acct and I had to not only login, but remember the stupid log in info for 3 different accts, than purchase it, than it’s a whole different story when you want to transfer the purchase to your child’s acct. and you cannot just but $10, in coins. The money portions will never match, you’ll always lose money when you try to purchase coins for in-store virtual purchases) And my 8 year old had to create an email (as my email was used for my acct 🙄) and so basically I had to create a fake email that I still cannot remember the information too. Ya I can imagine if you’re a gamer and you know what your doing and have the time for all of the stupid endless nonsense that is downloading and setting up every stupid thing, than this is probably an amazing system! If your a parent of a young child that still doesn’t have an email of their own. Don’t do this. I have literally considered throwing this thing out of the window too many times. My son loves limited games, that’s it. I would had waited until he was older to make this purchase if I’d only known how unuser friendly this system is. Especially to parents who don’t have the time nor want a whole separate email just to create a Microsoft acct so you can than link it to your Xbox. And than you have to repeat this process to create children’s accts! It was ludicrous, absolutely ludicrous. ... show more
