I was hesitant on buying this refurbished Xbox One X console because of the horror stories I have heard about renewed ones. I took a chance on this one and it has turned out to be great! The console was very clean and had no visible marks or scratches on it. Although the controller did have a scratch on it but it did not interfere with game play. It did not come with the original retail box but did have the necessary accessories to hook it up. I was surprised that it turned out to be a great buy after all. Prices are finally decent for these now when I got this the packaging was very damaged like bad. Product was fine. I'm writing this about 6 years of owning it and it still works perfectly funny enough. There at times and be some kinda bug where it lags then just crashes all together but it's quite rare. Still had it for so long and don't wanna spend $500 for another ugly console that has very little difference in playablility. ... show more

    • BROKEN BEFORE SHIPPING
The system was broken prior to it being wrapped and shipped. Once powered up it would not cut off, the entire casing was shifted like it was dropped. Furthermore, the joystick does not get power even plugged up. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY IT WAS EVEN SHIPPED...

The seller answered my one question about the Xbox promptly, shipping was quick, the console shows no signs of wear and works perfectly so far 🙂 The controller is obviously not original to the console, as the controller is lime green and console is black, but that's a minor quibble, as it works well and is something of a conversation starter. After reading horror stories online about refurbished gaming consoles, I'm happy to report that, for the price and good condition, this was a pretty great deal. After seeing many mixed reviews I was skeptical about purchasing a refurbished Xbox. In the end I decided to go through with it. My main concern with it being refurbished was that many consoles didn’t work or turned on just fine the first time but the following time it stopped working. I’ve had mine for about a week now and it’s been working very well. Coming from a first generation Xbox One to the One X is quiet outstanding. I play on a 1080 TV and the quality of the picture is outstanding, it’s more clear and smooth. One down side is the price. You could get a brand new Xbox X for that price. Amazing price!!! I took HOURS reading all the reviews because I didnt think this was an actual Xbox One X. I saw a lot of bad reviews so I was deciding not to get it, but my wife said to just try it out it has at least a 4 star rating. Let me tell you people, ITS 284 FOR AN XBOX ONE X! THIS THINGS GO FOR AT LEAST 500$ so it's an amazing deal. Been using it for hours and hours and days non stop and this beast is still going hard. Again it's an XBOX ONE X for 284! You are saving at least 200$. I would recommend this to ANYBODY! I also wanted to wait a few days to write this review just in case I had a problem with the xbox, so far NONE.     • used console lasted almost 1 year before issues started
Enjoyed this console for almost 1 year now. I got in in Jan 2023. A few days ago it started to glitch bad. Regardless of the app your in when you press the x button on the controller and try to return to the home screen nothing happens. You have to restart the console to regain control of it. The controller will also disconnect in the middle of gameplay or watching a movie. You then have to restart it and reconnect the controller manually. We tried 4 different controllers over the past few days and have continued to experience the same errors. Just to make sure I've also used those 4 controllers on 2 other consoles to see if the controller is the problem. We had no issues with the test. It will also freeze up when you take a screenshot during gameplay. Guess that's what you get with a used console. Will definitely be buying new moving forward. ... show more
