I was so excited about this chair and thought that I got a good deal on the item but my mind quickly changed after two days using this unit. The good - looks great properly weighted and stable easy to put together The bad - Seat cushion padding almost non-existent. After 10 minutes it feels like sitting on the floor. Also, there are cupped sides that are also not well padded and unless you sit with your legs perfectly straight in front of you, the metal inside these side pieces dig in to you. I have bruises on outsides of both of my thighs from this digging in to me while seated. If the seat was a bit wider then this wouldn't be as much of an issue, but the unit is quite small and the side panels offer virtually no cushion from the metal framing. I am a 204 lb, 6'2" male and this may not be an issue for someone smaller, but for people larger than me, this chair would likely be unusable. I'm so glad that I found this unit at a deeply discounted price because the full price (which it is now as I'm writing this review) would be way overpriced for the quality and value of this chair. If you are a small person, you may like this chair as the small seat and lack of padding may not be at issue, but for a human-sized adult this item is not worth the price, even at the steep discount that I paid. I will be donating this chair to Goodwill as soon as I can find something that is comfortable and doesn't cause bruising with normal use. ... show more

Was comfortable and nice at first, with a great reclining mechanism, but went flat after 3 months. Took me about an hour to assemble and was stable (I am 6'1, 200lbs) and was good for my size. However, I expect a chair to last me more than 3 months before I am sitting on plywood. I bought a seat cushion but it was still too bad to sit on. Ended up replacing this one with a real office chair that had slightly gamer-esque styling. I do miss the recliner though! ... show more

This is the best quality gaming chair I have ever used (and I have used a fair number of them). Super comfortable with a variety of adjustment options and features. Like sitting on a plywood bench. Padding in the seat and backrest is nonexistent. When putting it together some of the screws wanted to cross thread. Spend your money elsewhere.

Great chair. Easy to assemble, sturdy when complete, great looking and comfortable seat. The chair easily glides over carpet and the tilt function is easily adjustable and useful. The leg rest is a great feature but is for smaller or shorter persons.
