Positives its lightweight, the numbers are big to see. The negatives, it takes longer for my mobile to charge when connected, I had a difficult time trying to set clock to am or pm. Also, the battery is not in the clock. Make sure you don't throw the battery away because they have it where you can easily discard it but it's in the box in clear plastic. The media could not be loaded. Thought it shouldn’t look that good in the photo but it does. I love the bright display, clear surface and the alarm is loud enough lol. There are lots of reasons to like this clock. It's easy to read, easy to program, and matches any room decor. It also charges my phone, which is a HUGE plus. However, the alarm is really loud and I don't know if there's a way to adjust it. It's also really bright, which is not something I look for in a clock radio; I prefer to sleep in total darkness. So while this has many great features and would be good for some, I'd recommend it for those reasons even though it's not for me. ... show more

My grandson is an early riser. Like 5am early. I don't get up that early unless I absolutely have to. I was setting an alarm to go wake him up. He's 9 now and I decid3d he's finally old enough for his own alarm clock. He likes the mirror display and that it doesn't glare at him in red numbers all night. It wakes him up on time. My wife wanted something for her classroom. It is a butter smaller than she expected, but it works well for an easy to see clock. Overall it is a good digital clock if that is all you need. I did not use it for any alarm or charging functionalities..

This digital clock has enough functions to meet the needs of today. The dimming options are fantastic. You can even set up special times it dims or goes dark. Alarm is loud, the snooze and off button are properly placed.

    • May be better for daytime use than nighttime use

Got this to replace a vintage digital clock with red numerals, mostly to upgrade the appearance of the item, as we do not use these clocks for their alarms, and use it only to see what time it is when we're in bed at night, and don't want to have to put on glasses just the read the numbers. But with the brightness control set at its minimum, the white numerals become too dim and fuzzy, and with the brightness increase to the next step, it's too bright for me, brighter than a nightlight on the nightstand. It's a good looking clock, however, and it has found a place in our bathroom on a white marble countertop (the clock frame is white). The mirror front on the clock fits in nicely with bathroom mirrors. So it turned out to be a good purchase, but not for use as a nighttime bedroom clock. The extra USB outlets will come in handy to charge toothbrushes and iPhones overnight, which we were already doing in the bathroom. One thing I learned from this experience is that red digital numerals work far better in the dark for us because (1) they don't produce such a bright "nightlight" effect, and (2) they are actually easier to read in the dark without glasses. (There's a good reason red interior lights are used extensively in submarines.) Without glasses, the white numerals, in the dark of night appeared fuzzy, whereas the numerals in red appear more in focus. To sum up, if you want a bedroom clock that you can see clearly without glasses, and don't want one that also serves as a nightlight, and don't need the alarm / snooze feature, this clock probably is not your best choice. But it can be a great daytime clock / alarm for countertops, desktops, etc., The four stars for "brightness" is because it was either too dim or too bright at night for me. ... show more
