I had a burned plug that would sometimes make my headlight die, I cut the old plug out and spliced I’m this new plug. Lights are reliable.

This functioned perfectly with 9006 headlights, the only real issue is that it's significantly harder to take the headlights off if you need to. It's best to use something like a flathead screwdriver to unclip the headlight in one hand while both holding and pulling the harness with the other hand. It takes significant force to unclip, and while I felt like the clips might break I managed to get the headlight off without damage. Installing was easy (with the proper tools), the wires matched the gauge of my Toyota's wiring (at least to my eye), so crimping was fairly straightforward. Probably best to solder and heat-shrink, but I crimped and used electrical tape and it's held up fine (about a month in). You do need some tools to connect the wires, otherwise you'll end up with a poor connection. Overall satisfied, though worried about needing another replacement if the clips on the new one break. ... show more
