We bought this to replace and upgrade our existing Wyze doorbell camera. I love that it has two views: one that is down by the doormat, and one that is up for the rest of the doorway out into the driveway. Delivers a clear picture and works well. I got an additional doorbell chime for the garage because I can never hear the doorbell when I'm doing laundry in the garage (that's where my washing machine and dryer are). We have an older home, so we paid for an electrician to help us hard wire it and upgrade our transformer. So now it rings the original doorbell chime, and we have the electronic chimes plugged in upstairs and in the garage. We'll never miss the doorbell again! App is good, as well. Works great, has clear night vision. Very happy with this purchase.

I’ve been using the Wyze Video Doorbell and overall, I’m really impressed with what it offers especially for the price. One of the standout features is the dual-camera setup. The main camera gives a clear view of who’s at the door, while the lower camera is perfect for keeping an eye on package deliveries. It’s a simple but super useful design that solves a common problem with standard doorbells. Another big plus is the built in microSD card slot. I love that I can record and store footage locally without having to pay for a monthly subscription, which makes it an even better deal. The only downside I’ve noticed is the occasional false motion alerts. Sometimes it picks up movement and sends a notification, even though there’s nothing there. It draws a motion box, but no actual motion seems to have occurred. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it can be a little annoying. Overall, I’d definitely recommend the Wyze Video Doorbell to anyone looking for an affordable and feature rich smart doorbell. Camera is great, quality is great but if wifi goes down even with an SD card it will not record a single thing! Kinda makes the whole sdcard thing useless since that's I installed it for. When recorded to SD card it fails to load up video you have to click in and out several times for scared video to load up, some videos I wasn't able to watch untill several hours later because I got tired of going in and out. Most of those issue will go away with an extra $20 subscription 😏 just keep that expenses in mind when buying. Also most settings that you'll want the camera for will be blocked by premium subscription $20 a year will do to unlock all settings just keep that in mind it'll be an extra 20 yearly. Had an issue with the wifi chime but got that taken care off. Also the chat is very sensitive when using on phone with customer service so I suggest calling or using a pc/laptop or a separate device from where you have your order info because they will ask for pictures. Instalation is fairly simple, wired and everything for continuous charge. I am disappointed that the camera doesn't record a single thing if the wifi goes down tho doesn't happen often but most service maintenance that there's been around the city happen at night so you won't even know the camera is just on stand by untill the next day.

I had another brand video doorbell installed by an electrician. It stopped taking videos about 6 months after the install so I decided to get the Wyze video doorbell as a replacement. I have Wyze battery operated outdoor cameras which are dependable and video/picture quality are excellent - (far better than the other brands I am also using) and will eventually be replacing all other security cameras with Wyze cameras. With this video doorbell - I especially like having the 2 camera view (something I didn’t know was available until I bought this camera) - see picture of the 2 camera view. Another nice feature on this video doorbell is the lock in place - making the camera secure. I am pleased with this video doorbell.

This review is for the Duo Cam doorbell. Amazon has merged all the Wyze doorbell reviews into one place, which gives a misleading rating to this product. I own three of these doorbells. I ordered two directly from Wyze and had to order one from Amazon in order to leave this review. The doorbells will not record to the SD card. I have spent a month trying to get help from Wyze, to no avail. I have sent trouble logs from the app; called them; and have sent countless emails to them. All Wyze has done is run me around over and again with pointless troubleshooting that I already tried. They don’t respond to emails for 3-6 days. I kept asking for assistance in order to not miss my return window, but they do not respond to emails for days at a a time and then have zero answers…”did you reboot the doorbell…update the firmware…disconnect the power…remove the card…” Yes, i am tech savvy and I did all of that and more before i even contacted them. I’ve been troubleshooting these for a month and there has been no improvement or resolution. I have even given them a trouble code that randomly appears in the app, but they seem to have no idea what that code actually means. One thing Wyze does not list anywhere in the product manual or on their website or on Amazon is that in order to record continuously to the SD card the doorbell must be hardwired. Mine is hardwired so that’s not an issue for me, but it was one of the things that came up during one of the many email exchanges. That is info that should be listed so customers know up front and it is misleadingly not, but Wyze is hoping to rook people into paying them an extra $2.99 per camera to use their cloud recording. That’s obviously the plan with this new doorbell because it WILL NOT record to the card and they have absolutely no idea what the issue is, but have assured me for an entire month that their tech team is working to resolve the issue. Despite never resolving the issue, each email ends with “should you have any other concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us back anytime.” There has never been a single contact from them that I did not initiate first and no updates to indicate they are actually attempting to fix these doorbells. The doorbells also randomly ring my mechanical chime, which is annoying but I wasn’t even concerned with resolving that issue since I can see on the app if someone did ring it, and the main issue is that the doorbells will not record to the card and are worthless in providing the protection I purchased them for after someone tried to steal my car from my driveway. In order to return items you order directly from Wyze you have to email them to get them to send you a link, which in turn requires you to input your order number and email address, so instead of a convenient system that already knows my order based on the email I provided at that time, I have to locate that info elsewhere and write it down so I have it in front of me to start the return. SMH. Everything about this experience has been a joke. Avoid this product and avoid this company.
