This electric fireplace arrived quickly and in perfect condition. It took one person several hours (maybe like four) to assemble. It was not difficult, but it did take longer than expected. It is totally worth it! It would be a pretty big understatement to say we are happy with this product. The remote works without issue and it heats well. The fireplace looks very nice and has the largest fireplace section of any we found. The wood look matches furniture that you can easily find on Amazon which has made matching it to the living room furniture extremely easy. The price was significantly lower, and quality and size more generous than the ones we found locally. If this is the style you want and you have product assembly skills, you should certainly go for it because you will not be disappointed! If you don't have product assembly skills or access to someone who does, you could hire someone with the money you save. It's awesome! Sturdy, beautiful functional and a lot of storage. This thing is way to pretty to put a tv on, so we are just using is like a fireplace and it transforms the space. Photos of full-size scissors to give an idea of the sizes of the storage compartments. Update: We have experienced a couple of glitches with this product. One time a Roku remote seemed to interfere with the fireplace remote and vise versa. It's hard to speak to that since I don't really understand it. At the same time the remote was causing the tv to go off it was also failing to adjust the heater temperature. Another time the heater just flat out would not operate. I tried everything I could think of, testing different buttons in different ways (On the remote and directly on the panel) and turning it off repeatedly and trying to turn it back on. It was just stuck blinking on a LED message that said EO nonstop. At the time the heater function failed, the flame function and flame settings continued to work. THEN we tried unplugging the unit and plugging it back in after waiting one or two minutes. Problem solved. If you get "gremlins" or your FP goes bonkers for any unknown reason, don't panic. Just unplug, wait two minutes or so and plug back in.

Happy with this purchase and the quality is great especially for the price. The fireplace does use a lot of amps though so keep that in mind if your outlet is on a 15 amp circut with other items on same circuit.

I am very happy with this beautiful tv/fireplace console. It is the perfect size for our small home and the fireplace adds a warm and cozy atmosphere. It looks much more expensive than it was! It did take me 9 hours to put it all together, but it was relatively easy, and worth it. Do not use a drill! Hand screw all the screws in, as this is a heavier wood (particles board?), and it will split with a screw gun! Also, It really helps if you read and follow all the directions!😄

So far I am loving this fireplace tv stand! Only reason I am not giving it 5 star review is because: 1. Half of the holes were not pre-drilled at all, that was kind of a big pain and unless you have great eyesight or a magnifying glass, you could hardly see where the other holes were “pre-drilled” and 2. different steps of the instructions showed securing different pieces one way, but at nearly the end of the build, it was backwards. It didn’t take too much effort to go back and fix their mistake, but it took some time, that’s for sure. Otherwise, I’d say the product is great value for the money. I used a coupon and after tax and shipping the total was just under $300. I think the wood is good quality for not being a solid wood product and the fireplace is great. Heats our tiny living room well and helps keep the temperature up in our apartment so our PTAC unit doesn’t have to work so hard because of our poorly insulated windows. Everything was packaged and protected VERY well and I made a lot of screw ups by the screwdriver jamming into the finish when the screwdriver would slip and I didn’t have and nicks, dings or scratches!

Definitely have a drill ready for predrilled holes to make it easier to aline screws - I’m 78 & that is the only problem I had was getting the screws in the predrilled holes. Otherwise a breeze to put together.

This small fireplace is perfect for my apartment. The heater works so great and as I am elderly it keeps me cozy without bulky clutter. Holds mt large TV perfectly. Putting it together just took 2 hours and a good magnetic screwdriver. My adult daughter put it together for me and loved the size.

Package arrived earlier than expected, which was great! Everything was packaged beautifully, each piece was clearly labeled. My husband and I worked together and had it done in about 3 hours total...once you get past step 5 (which was a pain!!!), it was very easy to put together! It works great for our space, exactly the size it was promised to be, well constructed, and easy to assemble. The fireplace feature is great! Very happy with our purchase!

The entertainment center is a bit of a project to assemble. However, for the price, it’s worth the effort. The fireplace heater works great to keep us warm and heats our medium size living room perfectly. We put our 77” tv on top and it fits perfectly. I highly recommend, just be sure to have the right drill for the small space available to put on the doors.
