So if you are going to get the cam plus, buy it only through the website! Yes, there are two ways to subscribe to it. The first is through your app, and the other is to go to the Wyze website and subscribe there. Do the latter! I bought 5 cameras, went through the app, paid $100 for a yearly subscription. Later I purchased 3 more cameras and wanted to upgrade to the unlimited plan. I couldn't because Wyze has no control of Apple subscriptions. If I would have subscribed through the website, they would have helped me upgrade without losing the $100. Don't make the mistake I made. P.S. The cameras are great! Super easy setup. For the price I think the V3 is a good camera. The night vision is awesome! I do wish that the video resolution would be a little more clear when zooming in tho. So the bads: 1. Poor wifi range. Known issue 2. Motion detection is too sensitive. I have a few of the V3 and they are a hit or miss in my opinion. Some alert over a leaf blowing across the yard. And many times it will alert when the wind is blowing or at night the glare of a cars headlight or tail lights reflecting of the fence. 3. Lag with viewing back recorded footage on the SD car. Not sure if it's the app, but all my Wyze Cam V3 has this issue. When viewing back a video the playback would stop and freeze. I would have to back out and reconnect the camera and repeat this process many times. Not really fun of your using this as a security camera purpose. It's more for viewing live footage around the house to see what's going on. The Wyze Cam is compatible with Alexa. I like the fact that I cam tell Alexa to view a certain camera around my house. The only thing I hate is the delay it takes to open the live view on Alexa. I am pretty sure with the previous gen camera the live view would show much quicker, but with the V3 I would take a few seconds to even like 15 seconds later before I can see anything. Not cool of your trying to see who's on your yard with a notification alert goes off. I also like the person detection on Alexa. I think the best selling point for me. Now I know if there's someone around my house that is not suppose to be there. ... show more

It’s a good camera, very good considering the price. The night vision is great and you don’t need to always do the black and white type night vision that loses all definition. It sees very well in low light situations. I’ve got a few of these so I highly recommend. Also while they offer some free cloud storage their paid tier is worth it for me on some cameras (but not all). However you can record local to a microsd card which is great and free! ... show more

10x cheaper than Eufy cam I bough, even with the $2/month cloud subscription. The night vision is impressive, recoding has not missed a thing yet that I can tell, and I get the clip of a person or car entering the frame as recoding starts before the motion triggered. We’re eufy typically misses the movement until the last second and all I get is a person’s back as they leave my porch! I’ll be replacing those with Wyze cams soon ... show more

The Wyze Cam V3s are great with a lot of features. Video is very good especially the color night vision is excellent. Wyze Motion detection has great AI feature that it learns based on your feedback what is not motion you want to track. There is interference on the audio on my 3 Wyze Cam V3s which needs a fix still.
