    • Awesome camera, great features, you will not be disappointed!
This is a great camera and it has been amazing. I am dealing with a real estate property many states away, and being able to check on the property on a regular basis has been such a big deal. Imagine owning a home in another state and you have no idea if someone is trespassing or otherwise damaging your property? Upon looking for a good camera to check on things while we are away, this one is by far the best you can buy for the price! Check out the pros and cons... ----------- Pros: + Camera was easy to setup + App works wonders when pairing and controlling the camera itself + 32 Micro SD card is a need! Don't skip out on not getting one + Camera was easy to mount and place in the spot desired + Quality is amazing for the price! In full 1080p its worth it! + Night mode works super well! + Sensors work fine along with motion detection ( it is a little off, but overall works fine!) + Can be controlled and viewed anywhere! + Camera is super small and can be rotated in any angle + You can speak through the camera with little to no delay when connect to the same network + Recording to your phone is also amazing! ------------------ Cons: - Plug was a little short for where I wanted to place it, but they do sell adapters.. just something to note! - Pairing can take a while, but overall was ok - Magnet doesn't hold up to well in corners and would like screws - To get full features it requires a subscription (Not my favorite thing in the world, but can be good for some) - Can't cancel subscription right away, as soon as you setup the camera they give you an automatic 14 day trial without asking for credit card info, however for some who don't want the trial it can be frustrating. ... show more

    • nice and naughty with picky sd cards
the setup was the easiest ive ever done. just hold your phone to the camera, EXCELLENT. im sad i was only allowed to buy 3 so i had to buy this one that came with the a sd card. and this is where it became a pain for me. it would not and still hour of trying later take a sd card!! i updated firmware and set it up. unpluged it to a formatted sd card( tried several different formats too) that i used with older cameras i replaced and still it will not read it what do ever! wished it could but ive given up. it works nice with my alexa show tho ... show more

i found the organisation of the app a little confusing. and maybe it would be better for a security camera to be black. thinking very hard,i can also say it is unfortunate they use a fast-talking young dude for the help videos who seemingly has zilch experience teaching adults (leave spaces to let stuff sink in - and SLOW DOWN!). as for the rest....it's terrific! i have three cameras, for security, and the experience is flawless. i run them at 360 definition, saving into a cheap card & the visual quality is excellent. thanks for proving the public doesnt have to be ripped off. how do you do it at the price : are you selling our data ;-) ? ... show more

    • Works with Alexa but...
Yes now that I have the camera and have been playing with it YOU CAN see who is at the front door without having to pay a subscription fee for cloud service. As a matter of fact you can see it through any Alexa enabled device such as a Fire TV stick preferably with the voice/microphone button, your Alexa app in telephone or tablet etc. You don't even need a for example 32GB micro SD card inserted for it to work. The problem and something that is not so apparent is that this camera with Alexa DOES NOT do two way communications. The camera records/plays to your receiving device Alexa etc. but the return audio through Alexa does not work. I was hoping to use it as a Front door bell, and a very inexpensive one at that. I imagine the two way communication they were speaking of is via the app from the manufacturer. The really cool thing is that you can be in your car somewhere and see your front door for example in the Alexa app by saying, "Alexa show me the front door." That is way cool stuff. I can't believe how good these cameras are! Quality is seriously amazing! Definitely an awesome value! There is a slight delay in motion to notification , so you wouldn't want to use it for super high tech security. Not enough to decrease the rating of an awesome value, high quality camera!

    • Great value but won't work with Amazon tablets
Beware of this if you want to use it to record continuously using an Amazon Fire tablet. It doesn't work, even if you've installed Google Play Store and its associated apps, and there's no fix in the pipeline apparently. Otherwise it works with Alexa on a Fire tablet OK and perfectly on a cellphone, but since I was intending to utilize mine with Fire tablets I have to knock a star off. In all other respects, a great buy especially when there's a deal to be had. It works with a very weak wi-fi network almost 100% of the time, too and I have one of these on an outdoor porch and one in a cheap box on an outside wall, no problems with either. ... show more
