I bought these pom poms to zuzz up a tired old plain white shower curtain in time for a party I was throwing (am I the only one that does this? wait until people are coming over to force me to make some random update to my house so my bathroom isn't embarrassing?). I had seen a $60 pom pom shower curtain at Urban Outfitters and thought "I could do that". These pom poms are nice. Clean and poofy (though there was some connective skeins of pom pom poof material running between some of the balls- similar to, like, fake spiderweb material you see at Halloween- but it was no trouble to cut that off with sharp scissors and it left no mark or trace behind) these were easy to work with. I also like how each pom pom hangs down on its own little stem instead of sort of looped together with diagonal threads like you see in some pom pom trim styles. I ordered the 1.25" pom poms because I wanted a larger pom pom look similar to the inspiration curtain, and these turned out to be substantially smaller than that, probably .75". Since I was on a self-imposed time crunch, I went ahead and used the smaller pom poms and they worked great. The seller had great customer service and rectified the mistake, but I don't know whether the problem is that the description is incorrect or that they sent me the wrong ones, FYI. Since the pom poms were smaller than I expected I ended up making 3 rows of pom poms across the top of the curtain and one along the bottom hem and the 9 yards was more than sufficient for this project. I had some left over. I attached the trim with a hot glue gun and had no issues working with the trim, it didn't ravel or fray where cut and I think the finished product looks nice. The shower curtain has been up for a few months and still looks great. I even got some compliments on it at the party :) I'd definitely order these again. These are cute and just what I needed to add to a storage bin in my daughter's playroom. There's a scent when you first open the bag, kind of a detergent smell. It went away after a few hours though.
