If you've dealt with older robotic pool cleaners and their frustrating limitations, this one is going to feel like a genuine leap forward. I'll walk through what actually stood out after real use. The redesigned track system was the first thing I noticed. The longer tracks make better contact with pool surfaces, so the unit handles steps and walls smoothly without slipping — a problem I dealt with constantly on previous models. Corner cleaning is also dramatically improved. Earlier versions struggled here because of where the suction was positioned, but this one consistently plants itself so the suction is actually pulling from where debris settles. That fix alone made a big difference in my pool. Suction power is noticeably stronger too. Leaves, sand, heavier debris — no struggling. Battery life is longer, which means fewer interrupted cleaning cycles, and the debris bin got a smart redesign with a hinged lid that actually latches properly. No more wrestling with those annoying clips. The interface is clean and intuitive. A top-facing display shows your active mode at a glance, and the Wybot app goes well beyond basic remote control — firmware updates, performance tuning, and a Dirty Pool Mode that eases filter strain when your pool is dealing with heavy debris are all in there. The one area that could use work is retrieval. There's no auto-dock or float-to-surface feature, so you're pulling it out manually with a hook. It has some weight to it, which might matter depending on who's doing the retrieving. I'd love to see a return-to-start option in a future update, but honestly it's a minor gripe given how well everything else works. Charging runs about two to two and a half hours, four indicator lights on top tell you when it's done, and the app shows battery percentage. Just make sure you reseal the waterproof charging cap properly after each charge. If you're worn out from constant skimming and brushing and you've been burned by underpowered vacuums before, this is the one worth investing in.

This review is for WYBOT C2 cordless robotic pool cleaner in color: Dark Black. WYBOT built this one around coverage and runtime, and that shows once it’s in the water. It tracks the floor in steady passes, then works up the walls and along the waterline instead of getting stuck in one zone. Suction pulls in the usual mix… leaves, sand, that fine grit that settles in corners. The dual filter setup catches both without needing constant stops to empty it. I’ve pulled the basket after a cycle and it’s full, which tells me it’s doing real work. Battery runs long enough to handle a full clean on my pool, then it parks where I can grab it. Charging is a few hours, simple plug in and go again. The app gives you different paths and modes. I stuck with the cross pattern for better coverage on an odd shape pool and it made a difference. Not something you need to mess with every time, but it’s there if you want to dial it in. It has some weight when you lift it out, so that part feels like a small chore. Everything else is straightforward… rinse the filter, drop it back in, done. I’ve used pressure-side cleaners before and dealt with hoses and pumps. This skips all that. Just set it in and let it run.

I want to call this the Roomba for pools. But not quite. My girlfriend's parents have a poo that is curved. That is a key point that I will address now. Yes you can get about 3 hrs of charge on this, but only in Echo floor mode. This for us is not a set and forget to leave it to its work and come back all clean. We find we have to use the app periodically during the cleaning in order for it to completely clean the pool. We noticed this issue when it tried to climb the curved part of the pool it would either not go up all the way or turn towards the right not getting all the way to the top. Now the app has multiple programming settings and syncs painlessly to the unit.. But I take a star off for the difficulty it has with an irregular shaped pool. I do want to point out this occurred in ECHO mode, which we need for the size in order to complete the pool. SO we switch back and forth in order to give it the oomph it needs to get the walls completely. If you have a stand rectangle pool you should have no issues. I do want to point out that it comes with a 2 year warranty and has OTA updates to the vacuum. It does act like a hoover in highest setting will suction up anything near it on a first run. Is made very well (and a bit heavier than I thought it would be lol) Overall works well just keep an eye on it from time to time and test the various settings that will best suit you. Still worth every penny.
