I’ve been using this robotic pool vacuum for a while now and I’m honestly impressed. It does a great job picking up dirt, leaves, and even fine debris from the bottom of the pool. The suction power is strong and the coverage is pretty thorough—it doesn’t miss many spots. What I really like is how easy it is to use. Just drop it in, press a button, and let it do its thing. This is a phenomenal little machine! climbs pool walls AND steps and leaves everything spotless! my pool has never been cleaner! it's worth the money if your free time is important to you! I have never been able to get all the little tree droppings, etc., that seem to collect along the perimeter of my pool. This little guy does the job! has settings for whatever you need -- just the floor, just the walls, both, etc. lasts about three hours on full charge. LOVE IT!

one through two different vacuums in 2 years really scared to order this as it was so fancy but the price was right. I love this dude I talked to it everyday !!! It does my 10,000 gallon pool but needs recharging after every vacuum The filter is super easy to clean instead of sitting there trying to get the debris out like my other one "dolphin" This basket is great It opens on both sides spray it right off back to work they give you a hook to be able to get it out of the pool It does its job knows it's routine and parks itself along the pool wall so you can pick it back up. charges quickly and ready for the next vacuum. just think you don't have to get wrapped up in cords anymore !!! I 100% recommend this robot vacuum for the pool and man can it climb walls and It climbs my pool stairs and the seats scrubs the sides I can't say enough about this robot !!!

Easy and effective. I’ve been vacuuming my pool in the Inland Northwest form 23 years. It’s a vinyl line pool. This unit works very well, but I had to do a couple of passes recharging between each pass in order to clean clean the pool about 95% as well as I did by hand. The nice thing is, he just take it out of the pool empty the trap and recharge. Then drop it back in the pool and it’ll make another pass. It’s weird how it actually climbs the wall up to the waterline on a fully vertical surface. It has jets that will press it down to make sure that the sweepers throw everything it comes in contact with and through the collection basket. I give it only four out of five because at least with my pool, I had to make more than one pass. But it’s so easy that really doesn’t bother me.

I looked at this vs a couple others for several weeks, and then the new version came out and knocked the price of this one into the basement. I didn't need whatever the upgrade was (battery life), so this was a no brainer. We have a rectangular 30' saltwater pool 3 to 6 foot depth with a 18" deep baja with steps and a rail on one side and another access point /step on the deep end. Robot works great, cleans all but one, 2 foot section blocked by the rail and hasn't gotten stuck yet with all this complexity, no matter what mode I choose, it just works as it is supposed to. It takes a LOT of calcium out (generated by the salt cell) and a crap ton of dog hair (generated by 2 big dumb 110 pound labs). Once you set it up with Bluetooth and choose what you want it to do, you just push the button and drop it anywhere in the pool. Couldn't be simpler to use. It is pretty heavy, as others have mentioned. But I knew that. I just hook it and guide it over to the steps and horse it from there. I haven't tried getting fancier with the app or anything, I just drop and forget. I have only two real gripes: the access door and latch (not even that) the basket is a little chintzy, I could see myself breaking it if not paying attention. And you can't open that easily when it's plugged in because the cord and plug is in the way. Not a major complaint, but just FYI you can't easily remove or replace the basket with it plugged in. The other thing - not really avoidable I guess - is that is uses a proprietary plug, which actually drives me nuts. I struggle with this with stuff like my electric scissors or rechargeable screwdrivers etc. We can put a man on the moon etc. but we can't standardize into one plug for small stuff and one for big stuff? Give me a break. I would very much give up fast recharge time for a USB connector. But then again, maybe others need that 3-hour recharge time and there's no "big stuff" standard. I have a huge central box for all of the proprietary cords and wall warts in the house and garage, which is something that took me years to figure out, so Pro Tip maybe. Well that escalated quickly, but I guess I will just say that this thing works great, is easy to use and eliminates the whole ridiculous vacuum and hose section mess, so I very much recommend this. Second best thing for the pool after skimmer socks. I mean, If you don't have those, now you're just making it 5x more difficult for no reason. Which is cool, if that is your thing.

This pool robot is something I didn’t even believe I needed until I got it. Seriously, my wife has been telling me I needed to get one of these things because I have been manually vacuuming the pool for decades. I enjoy doing it that way, so I felt no desire to buy a robot. Okay, so finally she got me this one for my birthday, and I’ve been using it for a month now. wow. I can’t say enough good about it. Our pool is 16x32, and it’s now cleaner than I ever could get it manually. I enjoy watching it work for a while, then I can go do other things while it does what it does, which is a better job than I had been doing. It has strong suction and gets EVERYTHING from leaves to bugs and worms to tiny little specks that I never even could see before. The filter box is easy to clean out, and it’s easy to plug in and charge. The battery lasts plenty long to get the job done. It seems well-made, like it should last many years of use. I generally use it to clean the pool floor only, but a couple of times I let it clean the entire pool - walls and all. It did great! I couldn’t believe how well it sticks to the walls, but really it uses the force from the water it sucks from the surface and blows out its top. It provides thrust from the top to push it firmly onto the surface it’s climbing. It comes with extra floating pieces I could easily install in it for buoyancy if needed, but I threw those away because it climbs just fine. Going over obstacles like the drains and light fixture are no problem, but it does get a little challenged with the steps. That’s really not an issue since I brush the steps off before starting the robot anyway. For what its worth, we like it so much we named her “Rosie” after the robot on the Jetsons.

So far so good with this robot! I was kind of nervous about purchasing this considering the price. However, it actually works really well! First, and something others have commented on, the app works fine! The app cannot communicate with the robot if the robot is in water! Water prevents the signal from being able to talk to each other. Simple hydrology and physics at its best. It simply won't work. It is NOT the apps fault nor is it the robots fault. Cell phones cannot produce sonar capabilities. Second, you program it when the robot is out of the water to do what you want it to do. Once you have that figured out, you drop it in and it does it job. It has zero issues getting around our pool. We have a shallow sitting area in our pool, it's depth is roughly 8 feet at max, and it is a large rectangular pool (20ft x 50ft roughly). The robot works just fine with the shallow areas, stairs, and depth. Since it does not have a cord it does not get caught on anything. When it gets into an area it cannot figure out, it backs up a few times and repositions itself to clean. So far, the battery life is good as it has always been able to do our entire pool without running out. However, we do have to recharge it after each use. Takes a few hours to clean our pool and the pool crew that comes to cleans says it is a good little machine for what we use it for (to do a mid-week clean).

I have to admit this little guy does an amazing job picking up debris and scrubbing the pool BUT it kept getting stuck on our Caribbean shelf going in circles and then when it would come to the edge of the water around the shelf, it tried to climb up and then it would flip over on it’s back unable to get back up. The battery last 2hrs, in Eco mode 2.5 hours. Charging takes 3 hrs and it’s not supposed to be done outside in the winter time in the rain. App helps to track it the battery status but I have to be nearby the robot. The filter basket it’s super easy to pull out and put back in. very easy to clean, easy to rinse with the hose if needed. It catches everything. You can not operate the robot while it’s in the water but it’s not really needed as you see from the rest of my review. It has to be pulled out of the pool for the phone to connect to the robot because water blocks the signal whether you are connected through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The main problem I had is that it had to run for two full hours in floor only mode to truly pick up all the leaves and flower petals we get in the pool from Elm trees planted nearby which had been dropping leaves and flower petals into the pool for two months and they have at least another month to go. So if I wanted the bottom of the pool to be clean, Ihad to daily pull it out and charge it for three hours. Our Pentair racer runs only for an hour daily and has no problem picking everything up. Also. when it runs in the floor mode for two hours, it is not scrubbing the sides. To do that I had to charge it for three hours again and drop it in and let it run in walls only mode. Running for an hour in the floor only mode didn’t clean the bottom well enough. Though I can see it being enough in the summertime. When you switch to timed mode and it runs for an hour on 2 consecutive days. The robot remembers when you dropped it in on the first day and it’ll automatically start at that time the second day. There are Three more versions of timed modes. 3x40 minutes for 3 days, 4x30 minutes, which runs the robot Avery other day, 4 days altogether. Perfect in the summer when you are away, and there isn’t much debris in the pool. Whenever it runs in these timed modes it cleans only the floor. If you want to have the sides and the bottom of the pool cleaned and scrub it’ll you have to run it for in the two hour cycle Walls Only or Full Pool program or an Eco cycle, which was 2 1/2 hours but the battery will be depleted at the end of either of these programs.
