The media could not be loaded. I really want to give this 5 stars, because when the Wybot is working properly, it's fantastic. However, one significant flaw can be frustrating. For the Wybot to work effectively, all the air needs to be purged so that it is negatively buoyant. This requires "drowning" the robot, holding it under water and turning and rotating it until all the bubbles stop coming out. It will then sink to the bottom of the pool and get to work. However, if it's in wall cleaning mode, it will often come to the surface to scrub the water line, sometimes taking in enough air to lose its negative buoyancy. You will then find it swimming across the surface of the pool. I will no longer put it in wall cleaning mode unless I am nearby to grab it and purge the air again. Otherwise, the Wybot works great! I've discovered that not only does it do a good job picking up visible debris (leaves, etc.), it pumps a huge volume of water through its filter as it wanders the pool. Even if the pool looks clean when the Wybot gets started, the filter will collect an impressive amount of very small particles of dirt and debris. My pool is roughly 40' x 20' x 10' deep and asymmetrically shaped, and I try to run the Wybot once every day or two between weekly pool service cleanings, and my pool always looks clean.

I am hoping that I had a defective one. I had my heart set on this thing working. I was in love with it when I bought it right up until I put it in the pool. I ran it through probably 20 cleaning cycles. Didn’t remove anything from the bottom of the pool. It pulls wheelies all over and then the wheels fall down after driving a wheelie, and it pulls a wheelie the other direction. Never went over about 2 feet before it stopped. Thought about things for 30 seconds, went at an angle for 6 inches, it stopped thought about life went 12 inches the other direction and that’s how it spent its life. I’m 59. I don’t want to vacuum out pools anymore. My eyes lit up like Christmas morning with this thing arrived. The best pool vacuum in the world is the silly little pool vacuum that uses a garden hose.. this vacuum no it didn’t do anything whatsoever and it went back. I may try another brand next year. Very heartbroken that it didn’t work.

Keeps our pool very clean. We have a lot of oak trees around our pool and I was having to hook up the barracuda almost daily to keep it clean. Now I just drop the Wybot in the pool and let it do its job. Sometimes we have small acorns drop in the pool and the barracuda would stop up. Not with the Wybot! Charges in a couple of hours no problem. I would recommend this for a pool owner. Our pool is kidney shaped and is 22 by 35 feet and is 8 feet deep.

This pool robot has many great features but unfortunately you never get to see them in action because it keeps getting stuck in areas and can't find its way out especially if the pool has a rounded edges along the bottom where the floor meets the wall. In addition it's constantly riding wheelies which means it's not making contact with the bottom of the pool and is extremely unefficient at sucking up debris. I have verified that there's no air in the machine and that the basket is clean but still continues to happen. I would only recommend this if you have a square pool and no rounded areas where the pool bottom meets the sides. Also, this machine has no ability to map it's action. It is completely random so the pool shape dictates where this robot will go over and over again completely missing areas for two and a half hours. Another issue I had is that you get to pick different aspects of your pool plus which direction you want it to run in the app before you put it in the pool but then after you drop it in the pool it changes the selections you make and decides to run its own course not sticking to what you selected. Definitely would not purchase this again.

The media could not be loaded. Everyone meet, Wally, our pool guy! That’s right he has earned a name in this family. He has been a time saver and more, keeping our pool (18x36) almost spotless. The only place he will not navigate on our pool is the fiberglass steps. But that’s easy to overcome by just giving them a quick sweep. Charges as advertised, climbs all walls, collects lots of debris and easy to clean afterwards. I highly recommend. Only time will tell on his durability and battery life.

I specifically purchased this because you can use it completely without using the app which seems to be a problem for some. It does a pretty good job. Not sure the battery lasts as long as they claim, but it does a good enough job for me to rate it 4 stars.
