Everything, including the sticks and the outer casing is plastic. The silicone pockets in which you place the liquid to be frozen are attached to the plastic casing, and not removable, as far as I can tell. We washed this in our dishwasher, and it came out fine. It was easy to remove these popsicles (the one in the photo is just plain frozen water), and the whole contraption doesn't take up too much space in our small freezer. Note that these are super tiny. I feel like a master ice pop crafter. The quality is really good and it is very easy to take them out of the mold. I filled them all the way to the top and they donโ€™t spill over when freezing since the mold expands as well. I am very happy with this popsicle mold. The cavities are easy to fill. The shapes are cute. The sticks provide a decent part to grip onto when eating the treats. Best of all, they are not TOO small, but not huge either. This makes it easy for me to make small treats for myself that are satisfying and yet not overly high in calories. A great way to get my doctor-recommended "fun calories" each day while I am working to lose weight. Makes perfect popsicles! I use instant pudding blended with fresh or frozen fruit to make smoothie like frozen pops. I love that they come out super easy by just pushing in the bottom of the silicone mold. I wish they were a little bigger as it only takes about 3/4 cup of smoothie mix to fill all 4 molds. But a quick little frozen snack is nice anyway. The mold washes out really easy and keeps its shape use after use. The built in popsicle โ€˜stickโ€™ is nice, no wasted materials, just wash the handle end with your regular dishes and it is ready for its next batch to be made. ... show more
