I’ve never liked making cookies because it took so long. With this new Kitchen Aid cookie scoop it is very easy to use even when cookie dough is cold and hard. I find it so much easier to use than the cheaper ones I have used in the past.

They were flimsy but worked for a bit. I use them for baking and ice cream and do not handle the type of usage I need. They get stuck and not work well. They are easy to clean but easy to break too.

Are you one of those people who feels like a failure if your drop cookies don't come out of the oven in precisely even perfectly round circles? Hate getting your fingers dirty trying to get the dough to drop off the spoon? Do you have difficulty calculating the exact amount of semi-solid dough mix that equals one tablespoon? Do you revert to ice cream when you burn your cookies because you didn't hear the timer go off? This scoop works for cookie dough, ice cream, melon, and anything else you need small scoops of when you can't figure out how to work a tablespoon. The only downside is that the stuff you're scooping can get stuck up under the little bar thing that releases the dough, so you have to pay attention when cleaning up afterward. Used it more than ten times already without a problem. Hint: if this breaks while scooping cookie dough, you may have used cement instead of flour. ... show more

I love Kitchen Aid stuff. Always well made, sturdy and look good. I have many "larger" Kitchen Aid items, so when it came to getting smaller items for my excessive baking needs, I went with what I trusted. I'd already bought an awesome ice cream scooper from Walmart when I realized I needed a scooper that would work specifically for cookies and baking ( I bake A LOT)...Of course this was it. Stick with the best and you wont be disappointed. Well made, Sturdy, comfortable. Hubby teases me because I cannot stop complementing my new scoopers. Next on my list is a new Kitchen Aid Oven (saving a lot for that!) Cheers ... show more
