I bought two sets of these set for the 6.5 speakers and that was it. I’m not sure if I can give an honest review because I’m only using the 6.5 speakers. I will say is they do sound amazing , I’m not using the crossovers because I’m using a DSP to cross them from 125 Hz on up. They are very clear very bright. They do not sound hollow , weak and wimpy , also how can you beat the price you can’t…. I’ve been into car audio since I was 16 and these speakers sound very good…. ... show more

I ended up needing to return these because they are not really 6.5" speakers, they are more like 6 3/4 They do not fit is my surrounds due to the basket size and the fact that they don't fit on my 6.5" speaker mounts.

The 6.5 800w mid range speakers are freakin awesome not for being 80 bucks but these sound as good as any of my speakers and a vouple of. Them codt 200 dollars a piece.Thesr sound amazing and can take a lot of power.I havr300 watts rms going to thes speakers.

Got these to replace factory speakers in a 20 year old Pontiac Vibe. Installation involved no surprises. The mid base speakers fit perfectly using Toyota adapters and baffles. The tweeters include surface mounts and pods, so with a bit of creativity, they should mount wherever you need. The real story is the sound quality. I connected them to an aftermarket head unit with only 24w RMS and they sound amazing. Not incredibly loud but can go louder than I usually listen. The base response is punchy and full. Using the switch in the crossover, you can adjust the treble and the tweeters are bright without being harshly so. With only 24w, there is no distortion that I can hear at any volume the head unit can put out. I think I could easily have spent double the price and not have gotten speakers that sound anywhere nearly this good. ... show more

I run them at 60w rms each and they sound great all the way up to full volume. I can't comment on 150w rms each /300w for the pair but I will say that if your stereo is stock premium amplified with tweeters these should work well. They definitely work great with a 240w 4 channel. I recommend getting at least 16awg to 12 awg depending on how close to that 150w each you get. The wire provided for the woofers is very thin. They fit perfect with 6.5 speaker baffles and in 6.5 space time off necessary. Overall very good value. ... show more
