This is a nice rope style gift basket. I thought maybe the black ribbon would be removable, but it’s hot glued on. It’s still a nice basket that can be used as storage or to make a homemade gift basket.

This basket exceeded expectations and I love that it came with cellophane wrap and an extra ribbon to tie it all off with. Everything came together perfectly! My only critique (and this is extremely minor) is that the basket does come folded and compressed within its bag quite tightly. When you open the packet to unfold the basket it's quite bent up and crooked looking compared to the perfectly shaped one in the image. A bit of heat and stretching will fix this though, just be prepared to do that if you care about it looking rigid and sturdy. ... show more

This rope basket is nice after you put in all the work needed to puff it back up and get it to hold its shape. It looks best after stuffing it with rolled up towels, steaming it, and then letting it sit overnight with the towels in it. Otherwise, it's pretty misshapen. If you order this, expect to have to do some maneuvering before you gift it to someone. I don't really care for the bow on the front of the basket. I had thought that it was something the set comes with that you add yourself, but the bow is hot-glued to the basket and had some little strings of glue visible. I think it would look nicer and more reusable without the bow. Those drawbacks aside, this is a nice basket that can be used for a lot of different purposes. It would make a good Easter basket or small toy basket and parents may appreciate that it is soft and foldable. It can be compressed and put away when not needed. After expanding it to its full size, I put snacks in it and put it in my pantry for quick grab and go. It's definitely a step up from a regular gift bag and would be appreciated as part of a nice housewarming gift or similar. ... show more

This is a fine basket, especially if you're using it as a gift basket because it's pretty shallow. It's not super sturdy either, so keep the tin mind for whatever you're using it for. It also took quite a while for it to be able to stand up on its own because it was packed so flat.

This rope basket could be used for gifting as intended or used around the house. The black bow in front is glued on but could be removed if replaced with something different to cover the glue spot. When filled the basket looks great. It is pretty shallow at 5 inches deep.
