The quality and size of this set are very very satisfying. Of course, because there is a soft handle, it is very good. It works very smoothly, which is equivalent to the OXO, but the price is much lower than it. The same price can only buy one OXO, but this set has three different sizes. Children use these scoops with soft handles will be more comfortable. So I bought them. It's funny to enjoy family baking together with my children. Wow! I had NO idea. It was a passing thought that maybe having a cookie scooper would help motivate me to make some cookies. But I was dreading the spoon method of getting them on the tray. So messy. Started looking at my favorite brands but they were not what I expected. Went to this brand because I liked the price and the selection of sizes. I’m so glad I picked this brand for these scoopers. Here’s the scoop (excuse the pun-seriously I just couldn’t resist). These have gone beyond my expectations. The spring for the handle isn’t a “spring” it’s a gear wheel. It feels like they will last a long time. And the rolling action is smooth. Also the overall feel of this product is substantial. Nothing feels cheap or like it will break. As you can see in the picture I made all three sizes on a test round of Apple Oatmeal Cookies. First time baking these cookies so I wasn’t sure how big they would spread as they baked. (Not much by the picture- they’re dense). The small scoop was too small. I decided to go with the medium size but will probably go up to the big scoop for the next bake because these cookies just don’t spread out when cooked. I think on something like a snickerdoodle or a chocolate chip cookie I’ll stick with the medium scoop. Overall I’m beyond happy with this purchase. It made it so much easier getting the cookies on the tray. I can’t believe nobody told me to get these sooner. I know it seems like another useless kitchen gadget but if you make cookies with any amount of frequency it makes sense to get these. And don’t look at any other brand. These aren’t the highest priced scoopers but I think they will outperform other more famous brands. I think these are a great deal. Put them in your chart. ... show more

These scoops make it easy to produce uniform cookies, and are easy to use, easy to clean, dishwasher safe. The three sizes allows you to make from small tsp size, to large 1/4 cup cookies. Also comes in handy when filling muffin or cup cake pans as you will always measure the same amount. Another great use is to make pancakes that are the same size, there are many uses in the kitchen for these scoops when you need to be quick, but want a uniform product. I have had the experience with some other scoops, even some that are not less expensive, that they will jump the gear when dealing with heavier cookie batters. Nice handles, easy to hold and use with the black grip materials. I used it to scoop refried beans. I bought this with a plan to use them for muffin and cookie dough but I see there is a noticeable gap between the scraper and bowl of the scoop. It worked fine for the soft refried beans and should be good with muffin batter, however I wonder if cookie dough will be too stiff. I'll try to add to the review when I try it with cookie dough. ... show more

My old cookie dough scoop broke right before the holidays, so I needed a replacement. This set is nice. The handles are comfortable and easy to use. The three sizes are nice. I’ve used the largest for ice cream. The middle size is a great traditional cookie, and the small scoop is adorable.

I bought this set for baking cookies. The scoop is easy to hold and makes nice uniform cookies. If the dough gets too warm the dough doesn’t release as easily, but that’s to be expected. You can nestle your bowl of dough in a bowl of ice to keep the dough chilled if needed. Clean up is a breeze. I rinse and/or soak utensils right away so everything washes right off.
