I have been wanting one of these for a long time, so I opened it and started using it as soon as it arrived. I live in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, and I already have a good collection of interesting rocks that I wanted to smash up and assay. The material is strong. The handle is big enough so that I can get a great grip with both hands. I have found that using it while seated in a chair with my feet on the corners works the best. This crusher breaks up the product really well. They included some thin gloves that I haven’t used, and a pretty decent cleaning brush that actually works very well. Terrific product! ... show more

    • Paint chips in the glass
The media could not be loaded. Metal parts are painted. When you are banging the Malloy on the glass bits of paint is chipping off and contaminating the glass. No good!

No crushing rocks that I wish would shatter into pieces.Too small to break most glass items.
