    • Not good for glass, paint flakes
This thing is a nightmare for glass unless you really put some time into stripping all the paint off the piston and the inside of the tube. Otherwise your glass is massively contaminated with black paint. I didn't return mine in time so my husband put some effort into it with paint stripper and a wire brush and got it pretty clean. I do get a little metal dust but I just run a big magnet through the frit like they do at the factory. ... show more

    • Efficient way to crush your glass
I saw that a pair of gloves that came with this crusher but didn’t realize how handy they would be until I used them! The rubber dots on the gloves make glass handling so much easier! The crusher works great, just need to clean it per the instructions to keep your frit cleaner.

At first I was skeptical would this really work, well it does. We have crushed up quartz rocks and all!!! The kids love to help crush rocks they think it's cool.
