I got this for my niece because she loves making cupcakes, and I think it’s fantastic. It works best with semi liquid batter, and the dispenser releases smoothly, which helps keep everything cleaner than pouring straight from a bowl. Best invention ever! I love making champagne pancakes! But when using a ladle to pour the batter, it’s messy. If you don’t have this it will be the best super affordable gadget you add to your kitchen! Use the lid as a drip plate while making your muffins, cupcakes, crepes, pancakes and so much more. Have leftover batter, put the lid on it, it seals nicely! Size is great one batch of pancake batter fits in it. I decided to use it several times before reviewing, it’s still working just like new. Easy to clean up. And you’ll find you can control the size of whatever you are making with now long you hold the lever on the handle. This makes it so easy and faster to make whatever your batter is for. Someone was super smart when they designed this making the lid double as a drip plate. You’ll love this product! When the KPKitchen Pancake batter dispenser came in the mail, I thought it was a mistake. I had read all the reviews and they were fabulous! However, when the item actually arrived, it looked a bit flimsier than I had expected. The dropping and locking mechanism is plastic and I was wondering just how smoothly this item could really work and how leak free could really be. My mind was already calculating a 1 STAR review. The next thing I found in the package was an invitation to register the product which would come with a 100% guarantee that I could return the dispenser for a full refund if I was ever unhappy with it. This startled me as a company producing an inferior product would never offer this kind of product guarantee. My mind recalculated a minimum 2 STAR review. Of course, I would never review an item without using it first so I decided to test it on our family special Crazy Cake cupcakes today. These are cupcakes that are dark chocolate and they have a very thin batter like crepe batter. This batter can be a bit messy to pour as it comes out of the bowl quickly. Well, this little gadget is a star! I pumped out 24 cupcakes with no dripping. I was able to go back and easily even off the ones that had slightly less batter. They are in the oven as we speak. If you make cupcakes, pancakes, or crepes, do yourself a favor and get this wonderful gadget. I found that the lightness of the dispenser was an asset after you add your batter as it is not too hard to manage. I still need to test this with a heavier batter but as of now, if I could give it more stars, I would. I also do not know how it will hold up in the long run, but it worked smoothly and leakfree today. Good Job KPKitchen.

I was very excited by this baking tool. The first time I tried to use it, the batter was too thick and would not come out of the bottom. This contraption needs a more liquid type of cake batter to come out; however, there are several flaws in the overall design. First, it is a PAIN to clean. Even if you think you cleaned it the first time, when you go to use it again, you find that a fair amount of the previous cake batter has solidified in the bottom of the spigot. I has to use something akin to a nail file to clean out what I didn't see after my first cleaning. Secondly, the spigot at the bottom isn't designed for every last drop to come out. I had to push leftover batter towards the spigot, and even then, a fair amount would not come out. This contraption needs to be a little more funnel shaped at the bottom. However! This item does an excellent job with having no dripping batter issues, so it keeps the cupcake pan clean. I do have one complaint regarding the seller. When I received my item, there was a note inside saying that if I registered it online, I would have a lifetime guarantee replacement. Great idea, right? I go onto their site, I sign up, they offer coupons for other items they sell. Great again, right? Then I receive an email from them. The email went on about how it is such a wonderful thing for a mother to want to bake for her children when they come home from school. It was more detailed and in depth than that, but lets just say it is a summary. I thought this was annoying because I am not a mother and in this day and age, this could be even more offensive to other people who may be trying to conceive and are unable to do so. I do not like preconceived notions. Sell your bake-ware, do not make assumption, change your email to buyers please.
