Description

The 450 PSI – 40V Hydroshot Portable Power Cleaner is the beefier version of the popular standard Hydroshot model. With 130 more PSI (Pounds per Square Inch) and twice the battery, you get a stronger, high-performance, power washing machine. If you get your SUV or RV really dirty, this is the tool for you. If storm season leaves loads of mud and grime on your decks and driveways, this is the power washing wand for you. If you’ve seen or have the standard Hydroshot and thought, “this is pretty cool, but I want it to be stronger,” this is the Hydroshot for you. Even with all those PSIs, it only pulls 0.90 GPM (Gallons Per Minute). And it only weighs 5.1 lbs, so it’s easy to hold up for long stretches. This model comes with: two 20V 2.0Ah Power Share batteries, 2-Amp Dual-Port Charger, Long Cleaning Lance with 4-in-1 Nozzle, 20-foot Draw Hose, and a Quick-Connect Adapter. There are stronger pressure washers out there, there are even Hydroshots that pack a more powerful punch, but this is the right-sized version for the right jobs. Traditional pressure washers have a separate power source attached that you have to lug around. Not this Hydroshot. Power cleaners that are more powerful than this one can damage a vehicle’s finish or strip the paint on the deck. For routine, moderate to tough cleaning of cars, trucks, boats, and around the house, you’ll want this 450 PSI – 40V Hyrdoshot Portable Power Cleaner.

    • Quick, easy and efficient!
Style: Hydroshot 40V (Batteries & Charger Inclu...
The product is quick and easy to use and very does the job efficiently. It beats hauling out my larger gas powered power washer. Even though it produces less psi, it actually makes it safer to use since there is less likely the ability to tear up what you may be cleaning though one should still be careful. So far I have used it to clean the siding of my house and deck and have easily transported it to a friend's to do a similar job. I would recommend purchasing another set of batteries, which I did, since battery life can be short when performing larger jobs. ... show more

    • Good for what I need
Style: Hydroshot 40V (Batteries & Charger Inclu...
This battery powered power washer is perfect for what I need. I bought it mainly for car wash. What I like about it is I can bring it anywhere. If I wash my car far from water source, all I need is a 5 gal bucket and i can do what I need to do. The 2 batteries are enough to wash 2 cars. Do not expect that much power. It is enough to clean a car. It is slight more powerful than a garden hose. I don’t think it is 7x more power but it is enough to clean s car. Do not compare the power to a real power washer. Overall, it is perfect for me. ... show more

The washer worked well but batteries only lasted 30 minutes. Thought I could buy 2 more batteries but it seems duplicate batteries are discontinued.

    • Winner in the Winter
Style: Hydroshot 40V (Batteries & Charger Inclu...
It’s been a very reliable tool. I’m using it to clear off our deck November thru April when freezing temperatures keep the outside water off. With a bucket of warm water, it washes off dog waste; and it washes off the winter road dirt dragged into the garage. Batteries deliver 30-40 +/- gallons of water before needing a charge. I’ve owned a 3200 PSI gas power washer for 25 years. While there’s no comparison when doing serious high pressure washing with the 3200PSI, this washer has been a valuable tool. I don’t just like it - I LOVE it. ... show more

    • very low battery duration
Style: Hydroshot 40V (Batteries & Charger Inclu...
I was going to return this but have not yet, wondering if I can find other uses for this. If your thinking about using this to power-wash your sidewalk / walkway / stairs in the early spring, which was my main intention, be aware that the pressure needed requires you to use the 15 degree angle setting or lower to have effective power. In this setting, it takes FOREVER to complete even just a section of the brick stairs in front. Even more, the batteries on full charge only lasted about 15 minutes of continuous use, and so I had to allow the batteries to recharge another 3 hours or so before I can use it again to work on the job again. This is terrible, but understood that batteries shouldn't be expected to last that long when providing that kind of power. I would consider buying a power washer with an electric cord for things like that, not batteries. I will consider instead using this to rinse the patio furniture quickly on mornings that I plan to bar b q or something, although seems like a complete waste of money in that case. I have seen videos of people using to wash their car, I would say however that as soon as you bring the tip of the wand more than 3 inches away from the target, there pressure quickly drops to almost nothing. This requires you to be very close to the washing target using a very narrow angle, thus the long time it takes, and the lack of battery to complete it. UGHHH, shouldn't have cost this much. Hope this review helps in your decision making. ... show more

    • Exceptional - portable power cleaner
Style: Hydroshot 40V (Batteries & Charger Inclu...
This is the second Hydroshot that I own. I also have the original which takes one battery. This one is about 50% more powerful and takes two batteries at a time. I used the original at both lake house and home residence and would take it back and forth. Leaving the original at the lake and will keep this new one at home. This is even better than original as it is more powerful. IF you think these Hydroshots are the same as using a gas powered high power pressure washer, you will be disappointed. Most of those are 1800 PSI, and this is 450 psi. A garden hose nozzle is around 60-80 psi. I find this to be about 5x to 6x more powerful than a garden hose nozzle. What this doe great is clean up patios, porches etc. especially after pollen season, great for washing cars, boat, motorcycle, cleaning out garage floors, etc. I love it and is one of the most used tools in my garage. For what it does it does it perfectly. ... show more

    • Out of box, setting up. Wont pull water
Style: Hydroshot 40V (Batteries & Charger Inclu...
So far, my replacement Worx gun ( my original i liked was the 20v single version) worx'ed well enough for my task. Finally died , replaced with this Dual 20v (40v) version. it turns on, isnt pulling water through the hose fast enough to spray out. Trying to preload the water (which seems idiotic to me) maybe a short hose attachment, (primer hose) and have that double as a 'bottle hose' (which would be seconds of spray i assume) im going to retry again in a bit, reread the odd directions. (2 diff cards, with one set of instructions) found the 'primer one' on the handle. other booklet doesnt say anything about priming with water. so far, not a good feel. ... show more

    • Excellent for around the house
Style: Hydroshot 40V (Batteries & Charger Inclu...
While less powerful than standard pressure washers, it’s ability to take water from a bucket (or similar container) makes it infinitely useful around the house. The battery life of the two provided batteries offer ample time for most small projects and fast charging otherwise. It’s not too weighty and I was unbothered after 4 hours of use. ... show more
