Features

  • [FAST, CLEAN CUTS] This cordless 20V PowerShare chain saw is as fast and powerful as anything in its class. And with no gas and no cord, theres much less muss and fuss. Please fill the oil tank with chain oil before using the chainsaw. Then, run the chain for a few seconds without cutting to help lubricate it better, oil is sold separately.
  • [AUTO-CHAIN TENSION] The automatic, tool-free chain tension system ensures youll always have the correct tension for the job at hand
  • [SAME BATTERY, EXPANDABLE POWER] The same battery powers over 75plus 20V, 40V, and 80V lifestyle, garden, and power tools in the Power Share family
  • [AUTO-CHAIN LUBRICATION] The automatic chain lubrication system not only makes for smoother, more efficient cuts, it extends the life of the tool. And the oil level indicator lets you know exactly where you stand
  • [COMPACT, LIGHTWEIGHT] It weighs 6.2 lbs., about as much as a 2-Liter bottle of soda. Youll work longer, with less strain
  • [A FAST CHAIN SPEED] 12.5 ft/s. will tear through any reasonably sized log or branch. That speed, combined with our auto-tension and auto-oil systems, and the overall lightweight design, makes for one smooth saw experience
  • [PLENTY OF JUICE] These are the same batteries we use on our Jawsaw and in our lawnmowers. Theyre powerful enough for those, and powerful enough for a chainsaw

  • Happy customer!
It's effective, does the job quickly and easily. It is lightweight, which for a couple of seniors, is a big advantage. My husband has been trimming overhanging branches with it and it works like a charm and is easier than the loppers. We has also bought a weed whacker or trimmer, that was Worx from another source. Also lightweight and very good. Pleased with our choice and would consider more items from this brand. ... show more

  • Great tool for SAFELY putzing around the yard
First chainsaw I ever owned, and it turned out to be a fine enough yard tool for the yard chores I had to do. Couldn't have been any easier to assemble (it takes less than 5 minutes). Too bad it doesn't come with bar & chain oil to help get you going right out of the box, so just know that after you complete your order you will need to run to your local hardware store to get a bottle of the oil so you have it on hand when your tool arrives at your door. I used it to cut twenty or so 4-8" diameter limbs off of the apple and oak trees in my yard, and then for sectioning them off in to 20" blocks for firewood. If you buy this product you should seriously consider ordering an extra battery. I only got 15-18 cuts per charge and then it takes 5 hours for the battery to cool down and recharge. Realistically you could get more cuts per charge with branches of a smaller diameter. Don't let the size fool you into a false sense of safety, as I remember wondering when I was considering to purchase this tool if I could operate it one handed? I would NOT recommend that, it is definitely a tool that is meant to be used and should be used with two hands at ALL times. Also, you might think that because of its light weight that it would be no problem to use from a ladder. Again don't be fooled into a false sense of safety, and don't tempt fate. Unless you're a professional arborist, I'd never use a power tool like this without having two feet firmly planted on the ground. Although the tool stops quickly (and locks in the off position) when you remove your finger from the power trigger, why take any chances by tempting fate? The manual offers several safety tips (requirements) that I would have never thought of so that was a nice little heads up to read through before I started my spring yard chores. ... show more

  • Questionable product.
Lightweight easy to use, but make sure you tighten the chain often while using. Chain comes off often make your job twice as long to complete.

  • Difficult to Assemble, Major Disappointment
I already own a number of chainsaws, including the Worx 15 inch battery powered one. This 10 inch version is a disappointment. You have to insert the blade into the housing while simultaneously holding the chain in place, inserting the chain around the drive train, AND screwing the housing cover into place. Last I checked, humans have only two hands. In addition, as in other Worx chainsaws, it is nearly impossible to tighten the chain oil cap tight enough to prevent oil from leaking. The instructions are USELESS. They claim the blade has a key that locks it in place, but no such key exists. That's why you need three hands. On a positive note, it does cut wood. I used it extensively today after the ludicrous time necessary to insert the saw. ... show more

  • A Great Mid-size Chainsaw!!!
This is a GREAT mid-size chainsaw. I just love it!!! This 10" saw is lightweight and very well designed and constructed. Easily controllable and safe to use even for a beginner like me. Great power and cutting ability - I had absolutely no trouble cutting down some 4 to 6 inch diameter halekoa (fairly hard wood) trees on a sloping hill behind my house. Love the easy oil fill design and oil-level window. Love the heavy duty plastic cover guard on the blade and the way the saw blade tension-adjustment mechanism was designed - very user friendly. I also love how smoothly and easily the battery slides and clicks into place. It's also very quiet to operate - no hearing protection necessary. Easy to clean. Great safety features. I highly recommend it! ... show more
