Features

  • [FAST, CLEAN CUTS] This cordless 20V PowerShare chain saw is as fast and powerful as anything in its class. And with no gas and no cord, theres much less muss and fuss. Please fill the oil tank with chain oil before using the chainsaw. Then, run the chain for a few seconds without cutting to help lubricate it better, oil is sold separately.
  • [AUTO-CHAIN TENSION] The automatic, tool-free chain tension system ensures youll always have the correct tension for the job at hand
  • [SAME BATTERY, EXPANDABLE POWER] The same battery powers over 75plus 20V, 40V, and 80V lifestyle, garden, and power tools in the Power Share family
  • [AUTO-CHAIN LUBRICATION] The automatic chain lubrication system not only makes for smoother, more efficient cuts, it extends the life of the tool. And the oil level indicator lets you know exactly where you stand
  • [COMPACT, LIGHTWEIGHT] It weighs 6.2 lbs., about as much as a 2-Liter bottle of soda. Youll work longer, with less strain
  • [A FAST CHAIN SPEED] 12.5 ft/s. will tear through any reasonably sized log or branch. That speed, combined with our auto-tension and auto-oil systems, and the overall lightweight design, makes for one smooth saw experience
  • [PLENTY OF JUICE] These are the same batteries we use on our Jawsaw and in our lawnmowers. Theyre powerful enough for those, and powerful enough for a chainsaw

  • Always trust WORX
Style: 12" Cordless Brushless Chainsaw
I bought this because I need a chain saw to cut up all of the limbs that were recently downed during a storm. I have had great success with WORX products (trimmer, blower, pole saw) so I ordered this one. I am very pleased. It's a nice, lightweight, little chain saw that took care of those limbs and was ready for morw. Of course, it uses the same battery as my other WORX tools. ... show more

  • It's a great lightweight but powerful mini chainsaw
Style: 12" Cordless Brushless Chainsaw
This is a good lightweight but powerful chainsaw. I usually don't trust battery powered anything and was sceptical to buy this and again there was not a single existing review for this particular model so I went ahead to try my luck. I did read reviews of the other models but for almost the same size and extra $20 difference in price this was much faster and little bigger than the other worx 10 inch chainsaw. Good I got this one. I needed one to get rid of the vines that keep on growing on my backyard fence and also the trees than keep on getting old and fall occasionally in my backyard. It's not long enough time to test the durability of this chainsaw but it looks sturdy. For the first time users, I would suggest to coat the bar and chain nicely with chainsaw oil before assembling. It didn't come assembled, so after coating the chain and chainsaw with the oil, I would follow the marking on the chainsaw blade that tells us the direction of the chainsaw blade and put it on the bar first. Then put it around the chainsaw drive and set and align the bar on the body and then pull the bar forward before putting the cover back on to make sure the chain has enough tension and no kinks, keep on pulling the bar outwards until you tighten up the auto tension cover fully. Check the tension on the chain before using by pulling the chain outwards, the links should get back on to the bar properly when you let go. The chainsaw was ready after I fully charged the battery before the first time use, and filled it with chainsaw oil. I ordered chainsaw oil along with it as it doesn't come with any. Started the first time and boy it's fast and powerful. I used it to clean up all the stubborn vines that had been there from past few years over my backyard fence. It was cutting it like a champ, I had to be very careful not to touch the fence with the chainsaw. I did that once and the chainsaw stopped instantly but the cain came off, I put it back on and re-tentioned it. After that I would just retention the chain after every 20 minutes or so. The battery lasted for approximately 1 hour probably because I was just cutting the vines. Next day I went behind the fence to chop of one of the trees that had fallen and to my surprise this little thing didn't even flinch a bit and was cutting them up like butter. I think they were around 8 inches. I feel it is big enough for cutting upto 10 inches. It lasted approximately 45 minutes this time. So I would say the runtime depends on the type of job. This is lightweight and I was able to use it with one hand easily if I had to stretch to a distance. It may feel heavier to some but I think the weight would be manageable as it's not heavy by any measure. I saw one youtube video where they upgraded a similar worx chainsaw with a bigger 14 inch bar and chain and it worked all right, so there's an option to upgrade it unofficially. All in all I would recommend it for the current price and would suggest to buy another battery pack for longer runtimes. ... show more

  • Lightweight, easily manuverable, but make sure you check the tension often.
Style: 10" Cordless Chainsaw
Although I have a standard Gas Powered Chain Saw, I needed something lightweight and more portable for smaller jobs. Assembly was easy and fast. Prior to first use, make sure you have oil in the saw. Using this saw is easy. No worries about starting, just pull the trigger. I do recommend you wear gloves as you cut as well as eye protection, THIS IS A DANGEROUS SAW NOT A TOY. When cutting you need to check the Automatic Tensioner often. If you do not check it and tighten it, the chain will slip off the cog. Battery life is fair with the included battery, but I ordered 2 more to get more time in the field. Charging time is okay but maybe a faster charger would help too. Overall I am very pleased with the saw and recommend it for more portable cutting. ... show more

  • Impressed!
Style: 12" Cordless Brushless Chainsaw
Easily cuts hardwood for campfires. Worx is the old Rockwell brand of power tools. Interchangeable battery with other Worx 20V batteries from at least 2020. Same charger works for both. Does leave a small bit of oil from the drive sprocket when you set it down, so place it on some cardboard or something absorbent. Pretty minimal actually. Instructions say store it horizontally to minimize oil seepage. Not sure what that means. Would buy again. Recommended. ... show more

  • Initial use
Style: 12" Cordless Brushless Chainsaw
Very user friendly and great design. After setting the chain tension and putting bar oil it started right up. I put it to work and it chewed through the logs I cut efficiently.

  • Great tool for SAFELY putzing around the yard
Style: 10" Cordless Chainsaw
First chainsaw I ever owned, and it turned out to be a fine enough yard tool for the yard chores I had to do. Couldn't have been any easier to assemble (it takes less than 5 minutes). Too bad it doesn't come with bar & chain oil to help get you going right out of the box, so just know that after you complete your order you will need to run to your local hardware store to get a bottle of the oil so you have it on hand when your tool arrives at your door. I used it to cut twenty or so 4-8" diameter limbs off of the apple and oak trees in my yard, and then for sectioning them off in to 20" blocks for firewood. If you buy this product you should seriously consider ordering an extra battery. I only got 15-18 cuts per charge and then it takes 5 hours for the battery to cool down and recharge. Realistically you could get more cuts per charge with branches of a smaller diameter. Don't let the size fool you into a false sense of safety, as I remember wondering when I was considering to purchase this tool if I could operate it one handed? I would NOT recommend that, it is definitely a tool that is meant to be used and should be used with two hands at ALL times. Also, you might think that because of its light weight that it would be no problem to use from a ladder. Again don't be fooled into a false sense of safety, and don't tempt fate. Unless you're a professional arborist, I'd never use a power tool like this without having two feet firmly planted on the ground. Although the tool stops quickly (and locks in the off position) when you remove your finger from the power trigger, why take any chances by tempting fate? The manual offers several safety tips (requirements) that I would have never thought of so that was a nice little heads up to read through before I started my spring yard chores. ... show more
