It cuts really well. It can feel a bit heavy, especially after mowing the lawn with a lawnmower. So, using 2 hands was helpful. The battery definitely lasted long enough for me to edge the front/backyard.

I have only used this trimmer a few times and am on my second spool. It cuts well, the battery lasts a long time It is light weight & easy to handle. I particularly wanted a self feed model because my previous trimmer had that feature and worked so well. Since they were no longer being made I chose this one. But about halfway through the spool the seem to be poorly wound. I have to keep taking it out, manually pull out some line, then put it back together and begin again, until it needs to feed more line. Then again, you must take it out & pull more line out, reassemble & begin again. Very annoying! Hopefully, the remaining spools in the package will be better. This is a really great lightweight, easy to use trimmer. I waited and got this on sale which made it much better bargain. Does everything it claims and has held up for over a year with no issues so far. I do wish battery life were a bit longer but we have a larger yard than a lot of people. Plus, you can buy battery upgrades and additional batteries. Tip: you can save on replacement line by buying the no name generic spools on here. My neighbor purchased this same model Worx trimmer. I tried it, loved it and ordered one for myself. It's lightweight, cuts very well, the battery lasts quite a while and it edged and weed Wacked equally as well. I received it and went to assemble it. The metal pole clicks into orange handle. This was totally out of round and we couldn't get it together. Spoke to someone at Amazon who sent a return slip. Purchased another one immediately because we wanted to get it before the weekend. Second one arrived. It had clearly been used. The guard had some residual dirt in it. The battery was installed and there wasn't any of the original packaging that was inside the first one we received. This one has a split handle, which is probably why it was returned in the first place. It also had a different color and type of plastic handle so I guess there's been a design change. Shame because my neighbor's worked great. Very disappointing experience. ... show more
