All I can say is I had a WG743 (no brushless motor) and upgraded to WG745...WOW! What a huge difference! Power button is instant on this. My WG743 was always a 2-part start and sometimes wouldn't start at all unless it was being pushed. This WG745 is a smooth even cut and feels like it can keep going even after 1/8 acre of cutting (45 minutes). The collection bag holds a lot more grass than did my old bag (no comparison). I don't have to empty the bag every few rows like before. In fact, I did the whole lawn and only emptied at the end. Sticks and debris did not affect the mow. I am beyond thrilled and very happy with my upgrade but I will keep my lawn at 1-2 height so it can continue to be an easy chore. I highly recommend this WG745 for women who are sick of waiting for hired men to come around to cut the grass!!! Talk about power! ... show more

This mower is the bomb. I can push it with one hand to go under trees. It is a form of exercise walking along the yard pushing this. It takes nothing to push this mower. It cuts well and even cuts very tall grass. I got this because our riding mower could not do some parts of our very wet yard. Our large riding mower was getting stuck. I do not use this little mower when there is standing water, but just damp. This takes 2, 20 volt WORX batteries. The 20 volt 2.0ah batteries only last 20 minutes. I advise getting the 20 volt 4.0ah and larger batteries. The 4.0ah last about 40 mins. I use the mulcher insert only and don’t use the bag because it fills up fast and the grass leavings are good for the yard. It is easy to assemble. Just buy it. ... show more

    • It Does The Job

Bought this back in February for obvious reasons, Refurbished "Like New", from the Amazon Warehouse. Love the mower itself, it took about thirty minutes to set up (very unmechanical), and is easy to use. But the description said there was a double charger and two batteries included. There were no batteries. Fortunately, as a previous WORX customer, I had some I could use and the double charger really charges much quicker than the single battery chargers I had been using. I just don't like not receiving something I had expected. Just unboxed and started using the mower a couple of weeks ago. It is very light weight to push around and it does a great job as long as the batteries last, which seems to be about 20 minutes. If your yard can't get mowed in that amount of time, I would suggest getting another set of batteries to plop in when those give out. I had expected to get that "extra set" with the mower, but now I will be ordering them separately, so the bargain is looking like less of one. I'll update after some more use. But initially it looks like a decent purchase with a lot of potential. Box was damaged in shipment but the inner cardboard protected mower from damage. Though the box was stood on end, contrary to the up arrows, the mower survived. I did not remember the rear side shoot or plastic deck but won't ding for those as they are in the description. The rear discharge appears to work fine and will also allow for cutting closer than with a side chute. Assembly was fairly simple though the instruction booklet is not the best. There are 2 nuts to attach the handle, to clips to hold the cord to the handle, 3 screws to hold the chute together. Pull the mulch plug thats already inserted for bag or rear chute discharge. I absolutely love the handle. The padding isn't super thick which is fine as that sort of cover ends up tearing easily anyway. But it is ergonomically wonderful. The mower seems light enough and well balanced. One difference between the corded mowers I've used for 20 years and this battery mower is there is a slight pause for the motor to start after pushing the button. At first I thought the mower wasn't going to run but it did. So far it's smooth and relatively quiet. The wheels seem level and the deck height range seems to be adequate for my needs. I like the mower. Used it a few times now. The 2 batteries that come with don't last long enough for my yard. Come close but I have other worx gear so I just swap to another set of batteries and finish it in one day. 21" deck nitro mower. Not self propelled.

My 19" Worx that I had for 7-8 years went out on me. Immediately ordered this one after research. Main concern was battery life as I typically need just under an hour to cut my grass. After charging, took it out next day early afternoon as we had rain storm night before and wanted the grass to dry a bit. Grass was about 8-10" tall at this point. After assembly, tackled the lawn with ease! So light! I would be worn out with my other mower because of how heavy it was. Able to cut faster and more efficiently. I have a 2-tier lawn in the back and rolling it up the 2x4s on the steps was so easy because of less weight! I live in a moderate climate and this is a great decision for me! ... show more

I bought this mower on May 1, 2025 to replace my old gas powered mower that broke down. I needed a push mower to cut the grass in small areas that I can’t reach with my riding mower. The wheel fell off 10 minutes after using it for the first time. The small metal wheel retainer cap/clip came off and was lost in the grass. I don’t know if the retainer was not installed correctly or if it is a design flaw. I pulled on the other 3 wheels and they were held firmly in place. I wrapped a piece of copper wire around the groove in the axle to keep the wheel in place temporarily so I could keep mowing. I contacted Worx Customer Service. They are sending me 4 new retainer caps at no charge. I only mowed in mulch mode. The mower worked great and the batteries lasted about 1 hour. The mower bogged down and stopped when cutting 4-5” tall grass near the end of the 1 hour. This may be due to the batteries being weak, the wheels set at the lowest height setting, and trying to mulch. I don’t think this mower is powerful enough to cut tall grass at the low height setting. The positive about this mower is that it is very light and easy to push and maneuver. ... show more
