The mallet’s hook on the end lasted one time when trying to pull out the tent spike. It bent straight so that’s the two star but it worked good to pound them in.

These are pretty heavy duty tent stakes. The plastic retainer clip on top is very durable and resists breakage. There is a hole on one side and an upside down U-shaped lip on the opposite side, giving you a few different options for tethering. Workpro includes a durable nylon-type drawstring pouch to keep and store the stakes. I love that they include a nice mallet with this set. The mallet is ideal for driving these stakes, but is suited for a whole host of other tasks (pretty much anything you'd use a rubber mallet for)! I like that they have a large hook on the bottom of the handle, allowing for hanging storage of the mallet, close by to where you'll be useing it, which keeps it off the ground and from cluttering up value table space!

We're pretty avid campers so this was a good find for us. It beats looking for a rock to pound in the tent stakes for sure. Having extra tent stakes if a must too, you don't want to get out in the middle of nowhere and discover that you need a couple more tent stakes. The mallet works well enough and has a hook on the handle side so that you can hang it somewhere convenient or also pull up the tent stakes when you're leaving. I think this set is well worth it if you like to go tent camping.

I actually need this to stake down my outdoor rug at camp. I was so impressed by the quality of the stakes! It also comes with a rubber mallet and a storage bag for it all. Don’t hesitate to pick this one up!

These stakes are well made and strong. I have hade others in the past that were not as sturdy but these won’t bend if you hit a rock. The mallet is durable and ideal for banging in the stakes, an added bonus is the hook on the end of the handle for easy storage. They also come with a useful storage bag.
