I mostly have small tabletop clocks scattered around, and got tired of having to walk over to see the time with my old eyes. This clock fits in wonderfully with my "wicker and wood" decor. The design is simple so the hands and numerals are easy to see. The clock face and back look like a darkish wood, with grain. It's super simple to set up -- set time, insert AA battery, hang on wall, done in about 5 minutes. The clock comes with hardware for two options to hang it -- the usual sheath-and-screw, plus a nifty little doohickey that is white plastic, 4-pointed star, with four tiny nails about the thickness of a sewing needle already inserted into it. I tapped the tiny nails into drywall easily. The nails are so tiny they don't leave marks in the wall. The clock has a standard "hanging hole" on the back and the doohickey has a short post the right size to fit it. Or, of course, you can use a screw or nail. The clock is very lightweight and it doesn't take much to securely attach it to the wall. Out of curiousity, I tried using a single 0.5 in/1 cm hook-and-loop adhesive fastener and that worked well too. The clock has kept accurate time for more than 24 hours and really is silent, even with my ear a few inches away. Perhaps a good bedtime clock for insomniacs? It's well made and very light weight. I don't think it would do well after being hit by a stray basketball, but it's certainly sturdy enough to last a long time in a room where there aren't objects flying around. I'm very happy with this minimalist clock.

I do like this wall clock. I do wish it was better wood yet I did not order a high-end wall clock here. But I did order one that looks high end enough if it is going to be up on a wall and not eyeball-to-clock close to a visitor’s face. I love that we can use it to teach kids how to both read analog clocks and how to read analog clocks with Roman numerals! Recommended.

This is a lightweight handsome clock. There's no cover, just a face, hands, and back with battery compartment and motor. It makes a slight humming sound, but seems to work just fine and looks good keeping the time.

I really like the style of this clock. It's a perfect color match for the room I plan to place it in. It feels well made for its price. I've used it for about a week so far, and it's kept the time properly. The clock uses a double A battery, which was a bit of a squeeze to fit into the compartment, and a harder squeeze to remove, but it's doable. The clock isn't silent. I can hear it's motor ticking when I stand in front of it. It's not very noticeable when you stand further back. The ticking isn't loud enough or annoying enough to turn me away. I like the way it matches my room more than the low ticking annoys me. I didn't notice the ticking when I was trying to fall asleep either, and the clock is pretty close to my bed.

Contrary to what the title and description says, this is not a wooden wall clock. It is molded and colored to look like wood, but it's not wood. There's absolutely no wood in it. It's almost 100% plastic with very little metal where necessary. I like the look of the style I chose, very simple, high contrast - though I would have preferred Arabic numerals to Roman numerals if I had the choice. I also like the fact that there is no case, no glass and therefore, no reflections. So it can be seen easily from any angle and in just about any reasonable lighting condition. Since it's very thin and made of plastic, it's very light in weight and easy to hang. It is completely silent and so far it's been keeping perfect time. Overall, recommended if you find a style you like.
