Out of the box, the fit and finish of this seemed perfectly fine. Assembly was fast and easy, the only thing I needed to grab was a small screwdriver for the tightening the wheel bolts onto the axle. I was able to fit this in the back seat of my compact car and take it out for a short session. The approximately 7" wheels make maneuvering this around a non-manicured yard easy. Just because it's electric, don't think it's quiet I measured 112dB at about a meter away. It brought it out to some maple branches branches ( mostly <1.5") that had been cut down about 6 months ago, connected through 4 extension cords (about 250'). It chipped up small branches with ease into a fine mulch, mostly by gravity, but with some guidance by hand. Some planning ahead is suggested to clean up larger branches which can get caught up on the twigs coming off the side. I honestly think 1.8" is pushing it for this, especially in something like maple. The large branches would bog down the motor, and actually stalled it a few times. This might eventually cause it to overheat, however I didn't trigger any thermal breakers (if there are any). There's no breaker reset switches I can see, so that's a potential overheating/safety issue, or a nuisance to reset a breaker inside if you're a couple hundred feet away. The bin gets to a clogging point before it's completely full, probably 75-80%. It is comfortable to carry though, and not very heavy to dump into a trailer or spread out onto the ground. Is this going to replace gas chippers? I doubt it. Is it good for smaller stuff if you can get power to it? Absolutely.

WOW!!! and ill say it again, WOW!!! this is a mini wood chipper for your household tasks and it is amazing!!! It shreds leaves, thick brush, twigs, and even 2 - 3 inch thick branches. Its electric and seated on a roller cart making it easy to move it around. Comes with a convenient bin underneath to catch all the shreds. The quality of this machine is amazing for the price. The quality of the shreds are small and fine enough to use as mulch or compost. Makes a big mess into a couple buckets of mulch. Amazing power in a smaller machine. Very sturdy and durable. Very well made. Not as loud as one would think, it actually pretty quiet compared to a gas chain saw. Works great 10 out of 10. Great value for the money!!

Let’s start by making one thing clear. This is built for sticks, small branches, and NOT 13” logs! If you have delusions of grandeur, you’ll be disappointed. If you buy it for its intended use, you’ll be happy! Corded, plenty of power, works great, and has an easy to empty collection bin that slides out. Great value for the money, easy way to clean up those small sticks that are all over your yard after the winter. Much easier than a burning pile, and has the added benefit of providing free mulch to landscape with! They say it will do 1.8”, but I didn’t have anything that big to try it with. It did go through 1” easily though, so it will probably do what they say no problem. Comes with everything you need to use it. Very safe, and much quieter than the gas powered versions I’ve tried. Well made, seems like great quality. Happy customer!

This is a great machine, and works extremely well for yardwork. Easy to assemble, although it takes time, but the directions are a little wonky, so read them carefully. It has safety features, which is nice, and the collection box, which is also nice and quite sturdy. Not for professional use, and it is designed so that only branches up to a certain size can be used. It has already come in handy as we have a LOT of trees and branches that fall throughout the year. Works pretty well. The blade is actually metal! Wss able to get the leaf pile through no problem. It also takes through smaller skinny sticks. I didnt want to push it to far. I noticed it starting to struggle with medium sized sticks. Pinecone went right through too! If you want to not have to bag leaves an rather mulch them an let them feed your grass! This is a good one. The bin underneath has a safety. Sp if you pull it out ...the machine cuts off. Like that i can pour the bin anywhere.
