I tried more than one of these screens. This one is bright, connects first time every time, hasn't missed a beat. It reacts quickly to inputs with no lag, its easy to navigate. It has a dedicated "Home" button when in Android auto which isn't a given and its nice. The wire was more than long enough for me, price is good, and even has a magnetic mechanism that doesnt fall of or break loose in some pretty adventurous offroad riding. The first one i got kept changing screens and making all kinds of calls on its own. Obviously they were from 'ghost touches'. I tried to make it work, but it was not usable. I have the 5" unit already and it works gteat- but it is a little too small. I receives the replacement 7" unit yesterday, but used it much of the day today. It worked perfectly and I had zero issues. So far, so good!! The screen is bright, but automatically dims. Everything on this unit works really well. I have it on a 2009 concours. It is mounted on the right handlebars and it uses the front brake assembly for attaching. I love having this. ... show more

This is a nice navigation unit for your motorcycle. The 7 inch unit is the perfect size for my NX500 and looks great above the dash where I don't have to look down to check the maps or to screen phone calls. It pairs immediately with my Pixel 8 Pro as soon as I start the bike, although it does take 10 seconds or so for the unit to fully boot up. Connectivity is very good and I have not had any drops in communication between the nav system and my phone. The 7 inch screen is clear and the touch screen works well even when wearing touch screen friendly gloves. Most of the apps from my phone are mirrored to the screen, so I can get maps, weather radar, text messages, phone calls, and play music while I am riding. Installation is easy - simply mount the unit on your handlebar or dash, then attach the hot and ground wire to a switched circuit so the unit comes on as soon as you start the bike. In addition to the hard wiring kit, the unit comes with a USB-A wiring attachment allowing you to easily move the device between vehicles. I've been using this device for several weeks and really like it! My only wish is the the screen was brighter, It is not as easy to read as the NX500's TFT screen when riding in bright sunlight, especially when wearing polarized sunglasses. Because the device automatically adjusts to ambient light, I have no issues reading the screen when riding at night. Overall a very nice accessory, especially for the price! ... show more

Paired to my android in two and a half minutes. Mounting took another two and a half minutes. This fit my 2003 anniversary edition Harley Davidson. That means I have the smaller 1" handlebars, and this fit perfectly. I did try touching the screen with my riding gloves and it took a little more pressure than normal. It doesn't state on the box, but it comes with the connector right to a USB port. Right now, I'll give it 5 Stars and I'll update it as the rides go on. ... show more

I bought the WonVon 7 inch Motorcycle CarPlay back in December, and I wanted to wait a couple of months before submitting my review. I’m happy to report that it’s been working Great! I just returned on a ride home from a motorcycle campout in the freezing rain on my KLR650, and my WonVon worked flawlessly. it’s nice and it feels safe to keep my iPhone secure in my jacket pocket, while still using Google maps to navigate on the WonVon CarPlay. The touchscreen works great with my motorcycle gloves. I do not have any audio hooked up to it, I feel I can stop if I get a phone call or need to read a text message. I don’t recall any problems with the installation. I already had a live wire hooked up to the ignition, powering my Garmin GPS. I just sliced the WonVon power into that wire and it seems to be working fine. I do enjoy having two different GPS units running at the same time. I’ve heard some people do this and have one with an overview map pointing north at the top, and the other one pointing out the route, turn by turn. But I have not tried that yet. I played around with the location of my WonVon on the handlebars, and I came up with the set up shown in the photographs. I like to still have my mobile phone on the handlebars at times, so I fit my RAM phone mount in there, too. It would be nice to have all the electronics mounted in a stack, like they do with the rally motorcycles. I’ll have to work on that! So overall, I am very happy and a big supporter !! ... show more
