Love having this 7" unit on the concours!

The first one i got kept changing screens and making all kinds of calls on its own. Obviously they were from 'ghost touches'. I tried to make it work, but it was not usable. I have the 5" unit already and it works gteat- but it is a little too small. I receives the replacement 7" unit yesterday, but used it much of the day today. It worked perfectly and I had zero issues. So far, so good!! The screen is bright, but automatically dims. Everything on this unit works really well. I have it on a 2009 concours. It is mounted on the right handlebars and it uses the front brake assembly for attaching. I love having this.

Lag free but a bit bright at night

Great for cars but a little bright. Grabbed it because of the reviews. No lag, great options. I do wish it was dimmer a t night. For those wondering. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth and then sets up a wireless wifi connection. Your phone is then free to connect to Bluetooth headphones or your car. Works really well. Absolutely lag free.

5 Stars after 2 Months use on my KLR650

I bought the WonVon 7 inch Motorcycle CarPlay back in December, and I wanted to wait a couple of months before submitting my review. I’m happy to report that it’s been working Great! I just returned on a ride home from a motorcycle campout in the freezing rain on my KLR650, and my WonVon worked flawlessly. it’s nice and it feels safe to keep my iPhone secure in my jacket pocket, while still using Google maps to navigate on the WonVon CarPlay. The touchscreen works great with my motorcycle gloves. I do not have any audio hooked up to it, I feel I can stop if I get a phone call or need to read a text message. I don’t recall any problems with the installation. I already had a live wire hooked up to the ignition, powering my Garmin GPS. I just sliced the WonVon power into that wire and it seems to be working fine. I do enjoy having two different GPS units running at the same time. I’ve heard some people do this and have one with an overview map pointing north at the top, and the other one pointing out the route, turn by turn. But I have not tried that yet. I played around with the location of my WonVon on the handlebars, and I came up with the set up shown in the photographs. I like to still have my mobile phone on the handlebars at times, so I fit my RAM phone mount in there, too. It would be nice to have all the electronics mounted in a stack, like they do with the rally motorcycles. I’ll have to work on that! So overall, I am very happy and a big supporter !!

Great for the couple days it worked as intended.

Stopped working after a couple weeks. Its cheap, included installation materials are nice, Screen is big and bright enough to get the job done. If the unit had not had such frequent disconnects (Samsung s25 ultra) I would not have returned this.

Better than expected....

... I'm always skeptical of online purchases. Was pleasantly surprised by this unit. I had doubts about the magnetic doc, but once I eyeballed it, it makes perfect sense and is secure. I used the hardwire option with a switch to prevent parasitic draw, I found that it does a soft shutdown when using the power off button. I use it just for Android Auto for navigation, so I can't speak to the other functions, but the screen is bright and sharp. There is an option to bypass the adaptive brightness, and a soft button that floats over the map to directly access brightness. I used an articulated mounting bar, if you use the included mount, have superglue handy to secure the mounting nuts and the tightening screw, they're loose and will fall out/off. Be prepared if hardwiring the lead wires are 20/22 gauge, or TINY, but I was able to crimp spade connectors to use with the switched relay harness. All said, I'm hoping this unit is durable, it's had a good start.

Good but doesn’t like vibration on KLR650

7” Screen is nice, visible, easy to mount and does the same as the screen in my car. This is mounted on. Kawasaki KLR 650. When the vibration increases with this bike at around 55mph though, the screen goes crazy. The capacitive touch is too sensitive and it will self select random options and switch between screens as if you are swiping and touching it. It cancelled navigation, changed screens, changed songs, almost called someone all by itself when above 55mph on a decent road. Drop speed and vibration and it does alright. Have it mounted on a ram ball mount and may try other locations to mitigate vibration but just be aware of its quirks. Otherwise good nav screen paired to phone.

Works on my 2003 HD ElectaGlide.

Paired to my android in two and a half minutes. Mounting took another two and a half minutes. This fit my 2003 anniversary edition Harley Davidson. That means I have the smaller 1" handlebars, and this fit perfectly. I did try touching the screen with my riding gloves and it took a little more pressure than normal. It doesn't state on the box, but it comes with the connector right to a USB port. Right now, I'll give it 5 Stars and I'll update it as the rides go on.
