I ordered a ton of these to use as under cabinet lighting. I've lived in my new place for just under two years and each set burned out within a week of each other. I absolutely LOVE the warm light and how lighting alone elevates a space, but I've been pretty disappointed with the fact that they've burned out so fast and will have to be replaced. I like the remote ones too, but the remote started to go out even before the lights did. I wish they sold replacement strips instead of having to buy and re-do the entire system. Pros: - Beautiful and variable color tones and dimmability - Elevates a space overall - Quality for price Cons: - Burn out somewhat quick - Have to replace entire set when one strand burns out - Remote burns out quicker ... show more

These lights were so easy to install. They come with two types of connector/extenders. Just measure, remove adhesive cover and place where you want them. I had battery operated under cabinet lights before and they weren’t bright enough and I couldn’t leave them on for extended periods of time due to battery consumption. What else I like about the setup are the two clips that hold the cable to the plug in place. Great design add. Time will tell if the adhesive holds. I do have it strung under my microwave which is over my stove. Heat rising may affect its ability to stick, but it was worth a chance to see. I love the light it casts on my stovetop! Much better than the microwave under light. Let’s not forget the price!! Amazing! ... show more

This is my second purchase of these. The first ones lasted years and then they started buzzing and I was worried. I bought a different cheaper kind and they put out a yellow light, so i returned them and bought these again. Had them up in (not exzagerating) about 3 min. No remote to lose. Just on and off....Perfect! (although i never turn them off) Hey, thats right, I really NEVER turned the first ones off so they lasted a LONG TIME... ON. Thanks Wobane! ... show more

    • Excellent Product that is Easy to Install

I have had this product installed for about a week. Everything is perfect. The lights are very bright which is what I wanted. For reference, these lights are not dimmable. It comes with an 'On/Off' switch only. These lights plug into a standard outlet. I bought the 'warm' lights and I am very happy with them as they do give off a more 'yellow' light as opposed to the bright (almost bluish) white light you can get with white LEDs. I used all 4 strips and the lights are bright enough to comfortably read by. These are a great way to lighten a small space. The installation was ridiculously easy. They provide you with all the connections you could possibly need and I love that they provide electrical extenders. I installed these under the top shelf of a standard closet. Installation took me less than 5 minutes. So for, the adhesion is excellent and nothing is pulling away. I am very happy with this product and may buy again for an future project. ... show more

2ND UPDATE: 5/2022: It turns out the light which had a glitch in June 2021 eventually started working again. I waited several months to ensure it wouldn't go out again and so far it hasn't. I'm still fairly happy with the brightness and light output overall so I'd actually give this 3.5 stars. The other two sets I purchased have worked fine without incident. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATED REVIEW 6/2021: I bought three different sets of lights around Aug 2020 for use under my kitchen cabinets. They initially worked fine but one set stopped working completely. None of the LEDs come on and have to be replaced. I won't buy from this company again and it may be worth it to spend a little more for a longer lasting, higher quality product. I thought this was a good buy based on the price point but it's proven to be a waste of time and money since it didn't even last less than a year. Purchase at your own peril. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ORIGINAL REVIEW 8/2020: Great lights for under kitchen cabinets. They made all the difference in giving me more light and was fairly easy to install. I left off one star because there were extra pieces but not enough connectors to use all of them.
