TL; DR - this is a high-quality device that exceeding my expectations and that my niece loves. I would buy it again without a second thought - this may have been her favorite birthday present. I’m sorry I can’t provide a picture because (of course) my niece now has it, however, I can confirm that she absolutely loves it. She is a high-energy child but she will sit and stare at it for quite some time. It’s definitely calming, bright, and thankfully usb-c compatible (I may or may not have left my phone charger and stolen it briefly lol). It actually looks a lot better than I anticipated, though the controls are a bit counterintuitive. As far as battery life, we used it plugged in. The cord is long as the lights can illuminate the entire room (consistent with expectations of a such a device; not usable as a primary light source). As such, we didn’t use the batteries because there was no need. It’s fairly solid and would be difficult to break. This is consistent with it being reasonably heavy and having a high-quality feel. Update 01/15/2025. Purchased in 2022. They still work great and my kids still love them and use them every night. My youngest sometimes wakes in the night still and it helps him get right back to sleep. I love the timer. I love that you can pick the color of the stars. The only thing I've noticed is the rotation of the stats has a slight clicking sound now, but is barely heard when the music is playing. We have only had this for one day, but so far so great. My toddler loves the stars and music. We set the timer and then he knows it's time for sleeping when it turns off. My infant was soothed right to sleep the first time we used it. The music and sounds are very clear. The star pattern isn't as clear as I expected from the other reviews but still fine for what we need. The only downside so far is the buttons on the machine and remote. They don't respond right away and sometimes it takes multiple presses to get what you want. ... show more

My kids LOVE this! The sound options are the BEST! Beautiful! The color options are good. The nightlight, timers, and dimmability of the nightlight are all great features. My girls prefer it to spin, but it’s great that you can just set a steady projection too. It really has a super impressive expanse of options. I like to have just the music playing during naps and music with spinning projection in red during the night. My only wishes are would be to have just plain white as a color option and make the projection light dimmable too. But that’s really asking for it with how amazing this thing is. My son loves this! I love this! He had a stuffed animal since he was a baby before this. But started getting up everything it would turn off. So i bought his this one and it resolved everything! No more waking up in the middle of the night. No more struggling to sleep! Light quality is great. Havent had any issued. No flickering. Noise level is great!! I leave my sons at level 4. This light is so much better than others I have tried. It has a strong light and projects very well, but also isn’t too bright- making it great for sleeping. There aren’t any harmful lasers that can ruin the kids eyesight. The dome cover is hard- not flimsy cheap plastic like most of the others on the market. It comes with a cord AND A PLUG. You can easily Change the colors, set a timer, play white noise or music from the buttons on the front. The music is really pleasant too! Classic lullaby type music and several songs available that play one after the other. It also comes with a remote. My 4 yr old was so excited, he asked to go straight to bed. He is scared of the dark and been struggling with frequent nightmares so this little light projector is such a blessing! Big thumbs up ... show more

I have purchased 5 of these in the past 3 years. My children can not sleep without them. They are super cool and have many features to accommodate sleep from newborn to toddler and beyond. I just hate that they do not last. First one had to be replaced because it started making loud sounds while rotating stars and eventually stopped rotating. Second one had the same issue at about 8 months of use and so we decided to stop using the rotation feature. Soon the remote buttons stopped working and would get stuck so we bought generic remote replacements. Then we had issues with the cord not wanting to stay in place (got bent over time since it’s so short), replaced again. Now the last two we have purchased seem to have issues keeping the music on. It randomly turns off by itself at night - which puts my oldest into a panic fear fit and wakes up the whole house! Currently dealing with this issue and it’s a nightmare. ... show more
