I love these. We've had them for awhile now and use them for a couple hours in the morning, then turn them on again for a few hours at night -- and they last for three days! Two days if I forget to turn them off in the morning. I plug them in the night of the third day, charge overnight and stick them right back up in the morning. The magnetic plate that you attach to the ceiling is strong, they've never fallen or been knocked down when hit by the occasional flying stuffed animal (survivors of toddlers, unite!) but are still easy to take down when you're ready. The lights themselves move easily up or down and stay firmly in place once you have them angled how you like. The fact that they're dimmable is awesome and they can get quite bright too if you like. I'm including a picture of them on at noon with the shades up and curtains open. I did forget to turn the floor lamp off in the right side of the picture, though. I HATE the stupid popcorn ceilings in our home, so I wanted something that would blend in and not draw the eye upward. I really do love the look of these lights though, super sleek and they feel like a quality product when you hold them in your hand. I mounted this on the ceiling, about three feet from my 24"x30" picture. it throws off a very nice distribution of light. it is not a spotlight, nor does it flood the area of unwanted light outside of the picture - it evenly distributes the light over my picture. I have a second lite for a 35"x50" poster, where the light is 6 feet away. When illuminated, the area outside the picture has a very nice, gentle washout of light. the color temp is perfect, warm like an incandescent bulb but without changing the color of the picture at all. the designer seriously tested out and found the spot-on color temp. I tested the longevity of the battery by leaving the light on 13 hours straight at 40% power (which is definitely enough light for a picture) but this also included me playing around at 100% for at least 30 minutes and other levels of brightness. there was no change in the power. I turned it off then returned 8 hours later, turned it on again at 40% and left on for an additional five hours, at which time I noticed a drain of the power, in fact when I boosted to 100% it was similar to the 40% power level I was using. the remote works well for distance, better than any other light remote I previously had - at least 8-10 feet with no issues. One remote works for two lights, actually affecting both at the same time. Also, the lowest level, 10% is great for nighttime illumination when no other lites are on in the room. 100% is just too bright and can imagine is only good for daylight use, if you so wish. The only drawback is it takes a very long time to recharge this battery. I believe about 6 hours. This is a GREAT value for the money and comparable to any professional artwork lite. ... show more

This arrived nicely packaged and well protected. The light is very versatile since it is rechargeable. I'm using it at 40% for 4 hours/day and it lasted 4-5 days before needing recharge. The light is bright but dimmable. The magnetic mounting plate makes it easy to use anywhere and it looks great. The light is adjustable so easy to get the perfect angle on the floor with up lighting or on a wall. The daily timer function is exactly what I needed. My only complaint is that you can't use the light while it is plugged in to charge. ... show more
