Shake it up, spray in hair - a little extra spray where your hair tends to frizz more. Brush hair and done. It dries or soaks into hair in about 30-40 minutes. Maybe a brush after drying, that's it. The product smells really good, puts a bit of shine in your hair, does not weigh hair down at all and in my experience controls frizz very well - though I dont think the bottle mentions anything about for controlling frizz. Lightweight oil that softens and detangles without weighing hair down or making it look greasy. Also improves shine and smells wonderful. I have fine, low-porosity hair with a heavy wave that is damaged by box dye. It was starting to tangle and knot at the ends no matter what I did. Leave-in conditioners are typically too heavy and don’t help, and other oils I’ve tried haven’t worked and/or just made my hair greasy. I thought I’d have to suck it up and shell out for something pricey like Ghost Oil but this is a fraction of the cost and finally solved my problem. ... show more

I used this prior to using my flex rod before bed and it is amazing! My hair feels so good and healthy! The attached pic is my hair after using it but it is also after a Aquatic class and it got a little wet then frizzy. But it is an amazing product!

I really wanted to love the Dove Damage Repair Oil, and to be fair — it does make my hair feel super soft and smooth. The scent is nice and clean, and it definitely helps with frizz and adds shine. My ends look healthier after using it, which is a big plus. But for me, it’s a bit too heavy. I have fine hair, and even when I use just a small amount, it tends to make my roots look oily faster than usual. I think this product would be perfect for someone with thicker or drier hair, but it’s a little too rich for mine. ... show more

Perfection for my fine wavy hair! I use this with the other intensive repair serum after my leave in conditioner and before my hold products on wash day. It adds a ton of shine without any weight or greasiness. I’ve also noticed that my hair is curlier when I use this spray. It’s also great for refreshing my hair the next day. It reactivates whatever hold product I used on wash day without needing to rewet and dry, takes care of any frizz or dryness and leaves my hair bouncy, shiny and perfectly wavy.
