My mom is hard of hearing, and she was able to hear this perfectly. You have a good range of placing the receiver where you can hear it best. I placed the receiver in the kitchen, which is about 45 to 50 feet from the front door. Secondly, the set up was way too easy, a kid could install it. The doorbell button itself is in the front door & It’s being beaten by the sun so we’ll see how that goes for now. It’s easy to set up, easy to use. A set of different ring tones, & no drill hardware really needed. Functions as it should & is a great buy.

This item was relatively easy to set up. Remotes work well from a distance. I find the lowest column setting is quite loud. Depends on your needs, but I had to tape a muffler over the speaker to make it more tolerable. Lots of tone options, 33 or so I believe. Overall good value.
