Strongly recommend you steer clear of this unit. Arrived and immediately noticed it recommends you keep the styrofoam to help maintain temperature. Temperature only reads in Celsius, lid does not maintain tight closure causing constant humidity loss. The backlit egg leds failed on one rack within 5 days. Design makes cleaning after hatching difficult to say the least. Day 11 we noticed an acrid smell believing it was having an electrical issue, we removed it from service to initiate a return. This product should be pulled from service as I believe it a safety risk. Thank you. ... show more

We got this in March, ran our first hatch through the incubator and had a great hatch rate. We cleaned the incubator and got it ready for the second batch a few days ago. Every thing works fine, but we can’t get the days to reset back to zero for this second hatch, it’s just steadily counting up. We’ve pushed the rotate button and held the button for several minutes and it only rotated the eggs. Only other flaw is you will only fit 55 eggs unless you have quail eggs. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Got this to replace the one I had for several years. I’m so theories it should work ok but th first clutch I tried had 1 eggs out of 45 actually hatch but I will chalk that up to user error. I am most frustrated with the fact that the days will not reset on the display. I have tried all the way the cu less videos say to do it with no luck so I just have a revolving amount of says displayed because I can not reset the count down. Probably wouldn’t buy it again. It does take a bit to get the temp and humidity where it needs to be but once you get it there it’s worth it. I love the alarm that goes off if somethings off even when it wakes me up but I’d rather be woken up then lose the eggs. So far it’s great

We were excited for the incubator to arrive but once it came, it was not only flawed having the motor where the egg was supposed to be, but it also came broken. I do not recommend buying these incubators, we had ordered before and it always came with a problem. We are definitely returning it.

This only holds 55 eggs due to motor placement, not 56 as stated. I have an older version and the motor is under the egg cradles. Also my old unit has a hole to add water, this one came with a squirt bottle but there is no hole to add water through
