I had built an entertainment center with some bookshelves for a customer and wanted to get some lights to shine down from the inside of the shelves and these were the perfect fit. Really like the light design, the brackets and double sided tape, love the remote control but was super disappointed the lights only lasted about 8 hours on a full charge; I kept them on the lowest brightness setting. The documentation is incorrect with respect to battery life, super disappointing.

    • You Can Use Them Without The Arm Attachment!

These lights can also be attached to the ceiling in an RV. Just adhere the enclosed magnetic disk to the ceiling...sticky side up, of course. This is sufficient to hold the light, once it's adjoined. It's terrific to do it this way as the light is quite sufficient without the arm and the subject area is still nicely lit up. Additionally, by doing it this way, I don't have to attach the arm by putting holes in the ceiling. Further, if I want to move the light to another place, I just heat the magnetic disk with a blow dryer and the glue releases. I can then reattach by applying glue dots or use the existing adhesive if it is still adequate. If you do choose to use the arm attachment, however, you will find that it is very sturdy and well made. All in all, this has been a very satisfactory purchase. ... show more

Love these! Perfect for my DIY black light paintings. You can place them above or below for the effects. Charge lasts a long time. Sturdy magnet stand with a good sticky back to hang. You can change the colors with the remote for each light independently. Good size, brightness and function.
