I love the dimmer option that these lights have. It does bring a different kind of aesthetic to a room, that's favorable. I like that it has a timer , but I thought it was a scheduled timer where the lights would come on at a certain time . But that's not the case .. you can only set them to turn off after a certain amount of time . That's probably the only downside to these . But even still - I will definitely be ordering more for some of my bigger portraits. ... show more

Usually I give new electronic devices 4 stars even if I think they deserve 5—it's hard to know how long they will hold up. I think these lights will be fine, but I encountered some issues with cables. I had several USB-C cables already but only two of them can charge the lights. It's strange—neither of my Anker USB-C cables work with the lights, and they are high-quality charging/data cables. The triple cable supplied with the lights does work fine (but I wish it were longer). That's it for the bad news. The lights seem well made. The outer plastic housing is sturdy. They are supplied with several attachment methods. Ignoring charging cable problems mentioned above, all three lights in the package work fine. When I ordered a second package of three, those were also in good working order. The remote control's features work fine as well, including the option to power off after "x" minutes. (I timed it.) One thing that isn't obvious from the product descriptions: When you use the touch-sensitive switch, the lights don't recall your last-used color temperature the next time they are turned on. But they do recall the last-used intensity. When you use the remote, both last-used color temperature AND last-used intensity are recalled. (If the timer was used the last time around, that does not seem to be recalled.) They are pretty bright. I think that in our kitchen, leaving them at only 50% intensity will do the job. That would certainly be convenient for the sake of battery life. ... show more
