Description
What material are these miniatures made of? Semi-Hard PVC plastic. Looks and feels great compared to typical soft PVC used by many other brands. Are these unprimed? And should I prime them before painting. These are not primed. We do recommend priming the minis -- it will make it increase the ease of paint application and the final appearance. We prefer any PVC plastic specific primer, especially that made by the brands Games Workshop and Army Painter One or multiple minis arrived damaged. What can you do? First, many apologies for the inconvenience! Feel free to message us directly and we will take care of you. Who makes the miniatures? Wildspire Miniatures manufactures and owns these miniatures. What size and scale are these? What does "28mm heroic scale" mean exactly? Our 28mm heroic scale means that every 28mm of miniature = approx 5'6" in real life size. "Heroic scale" is slightly larger than true 28mm scale and exaggerates certain features for easy-to-paint miniatures with clear details. Great items! Very detailed!
Highly detailed selection! I bought the pack so I could give my mini a pet and the scale fits perfectly and looks great! Very detailed creatures, armor and some props. Easy to paint, i did not use primer and did seal them. Very fun to play with. Good value for the number of creatures you get. Seems durable and functional for light use and proper storage.

Super detailed assortment of figures here
I traditionally painted (base, highlight, drybrush, glaze) three of these as a gift to my niece and nephew and their dad. The figures are very detailed and fun to paint. Some areas are a little tricky to paint because the minis have been assembled to create tight spaces where brushes don't fit very well, but fortunately, you can't really see those areas very well any way. My children (ages 7-13) painted four others, and the detail on those minis stood out well with speedpaints/ contrast paints. One of my sons especially liked the the figure that looked like Reepacheep from Narnia.

Excellent quality, affordable, versatile
This was a gift to an RPG enthusiast. It was well received and very much appreciated. I got the opportunity to paint the first figure, and I might have found a new hobby, myself. The quality is outstanding, the characters are detailed.

Small box, but what great character designs!
The product pictures made me imagine this would come in a sizable box, perhaps a cube eight inches on a side. When I saw a very tiny box a little larger than my wallet I panicked, thinking perhaps I was shipped the wrong item or perhaps the miniatures were undersized. Fortunately I was needlessly worried. The miniatures are all full 28mm sized, fully detailed, they just fit together in a very small space. The character designs are amusing, particularly the animal characters. I'm not sure if I'm going to paint the pack iguana or the tea panda warrior first. Or maybe the battle hamster. Or the sloth. Tough choices! The figures are nicely detailed and will be very fun to paint, and at around $1 per figure they are an excellent value. I bought this with the other set they offered (29 Heroic Townsfolk), so my reviews may look a little similar, but the two are very similar in value and quality.

Disappointed.
There was a mistake with my order was supposed to receive heroes with the package but ended up with two sets of animals. I gave a 3star because the miniatures are decent quality disappointed regardless.
