The object of the ball is trying to get it to float in your hands but it goes so fast that they made a game to try and catch it. Fun time. Bought this for my 8 yr old grandkid and I believe he'd handle it with the respect it will need. Problem is, I have a 6 yr old and a 3 yr old that will break it for sure. Not their fault, it's just going to get smashed at some point with the excitement it brings. Needs adult supervision imo. It also works well once you get the hang of it...sort of. It requires a finesse that doesn't come with rambunctious children. Still, I like it enough to keep it and play with it when they visit. That's my thought....hope. $34 seems a high price. I do like the plug in charge, but it doesn't really last long. I'm not sure we got a half hour out of it. Fun at night outside - it can knock things down in your house. ... show more

Fun toy. Challenging and fun. Its charge lasts for about 10 minutes of solid play I’d say. It would be nice if it lasted longer but it’s such a cool toy that it’s well worth the wait time for recharging. So fun!

I had been looking at this toy for over a year and decided to get it at long last. I find it hard to get it to act like a boomerang. So using it in the house is not an option. LOL I also hate these toys that must be always recharged with these usb wires. All are different and they get lost. I am going back to more basic toys with no charging required. ... show more

The Flying Orb Ball is fun to play. The only disappointment is that your guaranteed only eight minutes of power. Then you have to charge for the next 30 minutes in order to play with it again.

Make sure when you press the little on/off button at the top, that you keep the top facing up after shaking the ball. You’ll have better control of it. I love how it floats over my hand and, sure enough, it can come back to you if you throw it carefully at a certain angle. You have to get a feel for it.
