I love how this worked vs the original moxies with the cauldron…the wand was great and how it’s set up to work is so much better and doesn’t jump ahead before your ready which was so much better to go through the magic with my kiddo who was fascinated by it but also distracted by the colors changing/sounds/mist so it giving them time to process everything and truly interact and not jump to the next step before we were ready was great! This was a great process to get the stuffy out of it. Kiddo loves the mixie we got and it’s interactive we’re still figuring out doing thi gs with it but kids really like it…my youngest is fascinated with the stuffy that talks lol…this is a great toy for many ages. My 7 month old was fascinated watching the process and my 8 and 13 year olds both enjoyed going through with the steps and magic! The most was a great touch and amazing for the kids to see! It didn’t smell too bad but must usually gives an odor… We do have refill mist packs so this will get a lot more use than just the one and done time! This is absolutely the best gift I could have gotten my daughter, she loves the magic mixies stuff. My only issue, and I don't blame the company for this, I blame the postal service for the rough handling of it, the liquid Inside that makes the mist had all leaked out.

The product itself was in good shape but these are 2 of the 6 batteries that came in the toy. There was 2 others that i threw away immediately before I could even get a picture. The end of 2 of the batteries were broken. We are lucky there was no battery acid leaking out of them. Had to use 6 of our own batteries once we realized the thing wouldn't turn on. Purchased in July 23' for a Christmas gift for our daughter. By the time Christmas morning arrived, the gift was opened. The wand worked, but the Crystal Ball itself would not turn on. I tried changing the batteries twice and nothing. The liquid had leaked all throughout the Crystal Ball itself. Since it was a Christmas gift and purchased months' in advance, there was no options to return to the vendor (Amazon Services, Inc) as it had been past the return date allowed. I reached out to Moose Toys manufacturer of the product, and they were ZERO help. I stated the same things numerous times, over & over, and they weren't able to comprehend the most basic explanations - and continued to ask for a "video" of the faulty product. This was days' after Christmas and as a sad consolation prize, we had already disassembled the toy for the $40 stuffed animal, after hours of reading instructions and watching videos. Moose Toys continued to try to make it seem like there was just a simple reason & that it was user error. Not the case - I figured Moose Toys would take some pride in their faulty/defective product and refund/replace, or offer a discount/store credit - NOTHING. Do yourself a favor, and just don't take the risk on a $40 stuffed animal because there's a large chance from my experience and reading other reviews, that this product will not work as instructed. It's a POS, as is the Manufacturer - money grab at its finest. You'd think if you were charging $50 for a stuffed animal, you could at least keep you customers' happy that are purchasing it to begin with. ... show more

I’m a toy collector and I saw this on Amazon so I decided to get it, And I’m glad I did it is the cutest little thing, and I like the fact that you can reload it and play with it over and over again and the crystal ball can be used as a night light.
